Thanks Ray. I needed a nice kit to keep my brain off overload for a while since I also have the F-350 Ramptruck and a 56 Ford pickup on the bench.

I have started my next project. It's the Moebius 1965 Chevy II Gasser. I got some of the parts cleaned up, glued together, and did a trial fit of the body over the interior tub. Just now got the Tamiya White Fine Surface Primer shot on the body & parts. I'm going with the Tamiya X-7 Red Acrylic paint and it will be cleared with the Tamiya X-22 Clear. Things are looking good so far.

Great little build out of extra parts. Nice job.

James....these kits are notorious for having issues so don't feel bad. I had my share of issues as well.

Nice work Mario. It does seem a little high but still looks pretty sharp.

Thanks for all the info guys. I did find these online a while ago as I was doing a search. I do have a NASCAR kit so maybe I could use that chassis and slide it under a truck body.

Inexpensive paint booth recommendations
Zippi replied to WizPorsche944's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I was going to make my own spray booth but I finally broke down and just bought one. I bought a dual fan spray booth as it's a little larger than the single and moves more air. The spray booth has made a Hugh difference in the quality of my painting. i know the dual fan unit is over your budget but I can tell you this....I have found that if a rattle can is used there is much more paint being shot at the filter and I have gotten overspray outside the booth. I still spray rattle cans outside. -
