That's the only hood I have Carl. I'm not sure if it's just my hood or if it's a characteristic of this kit with the hood being to wide.

While try to get the body prepared for paint I noticed the hood is not fitting as good as I would like. The hood is a little wide and I'm not sure how to pull it back into place. For you fellows that have built this kit, what did you do with this issue?

Great looking cars & trucks. Nice to see what a Henry J Kaiser actually looks like other than a Gasser. I've have never seen those style novelty doors that were on the 1954 Kaiser Darrin Series 161 Roadster. Nice pics. Thanks.

Thanks Fellows. The humidity went down to 68% so I shot some paint on a few spoons so I can do my test later on with the Tamiya X-26 Clear Orange. I'll also be doing the test on the Tamiya X-33 Bronze that I have not painted yet. Here is what I'll be doing the test on.

Thanks Dave. I'm headed to the Hobby Shop today to pick up the paint. Not sure when I'll get a chance to try it out in the spraybooth. I need to wait until this heat wave is over with.

Since the box art on the 40 Coupe is orange, I'm thinking of some variation of that color. I saw a video of of a fellow airbrushing Tamiya X-26 Clear Orange over X-33 Bronze. It made a really nice deep looking color. I'm thinking with some chrome wheels and a bmf strip down the side that color should really pop. The color is still not in stone yet.
