  4. Nice work. Looks like the old duice and ha!f we use to have in our CE compound back in the day.
  5. Pretty slick looking ride. Nice detail work.
  6. Thanks for the feedback Dave.
  7. Thanks for the info Dave.
  8. Thanks Mike. Still needs a couple more coats.
  9. Thanks Dave. I'm glad I got that white top painted when I did. It's 19° now and we are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow. I went with the seat color I chose is started to look good. Maybe a couple more coats then a matt clear finish.
  10. Thanks Dave. It's a work in progress. I did get the white top polished out.
  11. I probably wont buy anymore of the Novus products. There is nothing wrong with it but I think the Meguiar's Mirror Glaze and liquid wax I use does just as good. I always polish after I get the clear on and it has cured for about 3 days.
  12. The rims will look pretty kewl James. Grab some of the better half's bleach and stick those rims in a pan of that bleach to take the chrome off. Doesn't take very long at all.
  13. Well....I started painting the front seats with the Anits's Pastel Mint and it's just to light for my liking. I put a coat of the Anita's Dew Green (same as body color) and it looks much better. I thinned it about 50/50 with water.
  14. Yup....nice kit.
  15. The 36 is looking sweet RRR. Nice work.
  16. Haha....pretty kewl looking. Nice work.
  17. Nice looking builds for 2021. I really like the red 53 Chevy.
  18. Nice builds for 2021. I really like the 37. All the paint jobs just looks so nice. Good start on the 56 pickup. Just finished one up.
  19. This build is looking so kewl. I like the gray or "primer" as your better half calls it. The stance looks killer and I really like the wheels and tires.
  20. Yeah I'm like Daniel. I think the same white as the grille for the bumpers. Black would look kewl as well. How did you get the black around the windows so nice and neat looking?
  21. Seems like I always run into this problem. For my interiors I normally air brush or use a rattle can for the major color of the interior. For the detail work I've used Tamiya which has pretty good coverage and the paint seems to level out nicely but lacking on color choices. Arcylic's have a much better color selection but it streaks when brushing it on and it take many many coats to get a solid color. I tryed thining it and right out of the bottle. I just don't care for the end result. How do you hand paint your interiors and what paint do you use?
  22. I haven't cleaned them up yet but I did a trial fit of the side chrome pieces and they fit like a glove.
  23. I pulled all the wrapping off and there was a little bleed through but it's on the trim and that will all get bmf. I still have to polish the top but it turn out nice. Also got my new neon Chevrolet clock in. I use to have a Ford clock for when I had my 1:1 37 Ford pickup Street Rod.
  24. Yeah I'm going to have to check mine out. I don't think I have much primer or paint on the body but you never know.
