  1. I don't really know just yet Riley. Its just to early. I did see a nice set of wheely bars in my stash.
  2. Here's a test I did some months back. Hard to tell the difference between the three.
  3. Yeah baby.....that's what I'm talking about. That thing is down in the weeds man. Blue is my favorite color so you know I'm diggin it. Everything just looks great but that chassis is killer man. Love all the mods. Great job.
  4. Ok fella's....I've been wanting to try my hand at tubbing something out for a while and I think I found my Huckleberry. Doesn't look like I'll have to cut into the chassis which is great for my first time. I'm thinking it's just going to require cutting into the wheel well and into the bed and then making some tubes for the bed. Once I get everything cut and modified I'll be stripping the body. Not sure on a color as it's just to early in the game. The one pic shows the look I'll be going for except the rear wheels will be tucked in the fenders.....hopefully. Maybe a straight axles under the front and make a Gasser.....just thinking out loud. This will be a VERY slow process fells's. All input and comment's are welcome.
  5. Ok...think I have found a doner for my first tub job. This is the Revell 1956 Ford truck. Looks like all I may need to do is cut into the bed and leave the frame along. I also have a little room to push the axle a little closer towards the frame to get the truck even lower. Anyone ever done this on this truck? It's the 56 Foose addition. Not sure when I'll get around to working on this but I'll start a thread when I do. The Goodyear slick are what I'l be using. Not the other tires shown.
  6. Yup. That looks pretty good JC.
  7. Yeah I think your right.
  8. Two good looking Hot Rods there RRP.
  9. Nice looking little 63 Vette. I like the toned down red color. Looks more like they did back in the day.
  10. Good looking ol 47 Chevy Coupe. All three look nice. I really like the panel.
  11. Nice looking little Roadster. The green and tan go together well. Nice job.
  12. Nice work on your 84 pickup so far. I like the orange. I think Tamiya also makes a Competition Orange that I haven't tried yet.
  13. You've got some lookers there Jason. Each and every one look bodacious. That 49 Merc looks like it's ready for the Sock Hop down at the dinner.
  14. That's a good looking Gasser. This shows that a good looking model can be built from this kit. I've read all the negitive posts about the Henry J and still want one. I like Gassers and it's a Gasser. Looking forward to the challenge when this one hits the local hobby shop.
  15. Yeah Grant did a great job on this build. Looks nice. I have the new release on hold at my local hobby shop with they come in. I'm in no big hurry to get one but when it comes in I'll have one waiting.
  16. Thank you Carl.
  17. Thanks for the info Alan I appreciate it.
  18. That's one bad lookin machine right there. Lot of muscle on the business end. Nice looking build.
  19. Great looking Hot Rod. Nice color. Looks like that young college girl likes your Hot Rod.
  20. Nice. Haha....he said "contraption"
  21. Thanks James. I've airbrushed bumpers with testors before and then I sprayed my 34 Modified and it came out nice. Hopeing for some good results again. I like how it sprays and levels out.
  22. That engine does look the best. Yup, I agree.
  23. That sounds interesting Guido. I have the Revell 69 Camero Z/28 RS
  24. Thank's for your input Ricky. I think I've found my Huckleberry. This is the stock block and intake. I spun the intake around so now it's a Ford. It's not a dual 4 carb intake but I think it looks ok as most of it will be hidden plus I can close the hood. Now it's a bit of a sleeper. The air cleaner is off the 1956 Ford Foose addition engine. I'll call this a 302 Hybrid. I have airbrushed a lot of the craft paints and Anita's and Ceramcoat is what I always went for. Airbrushing the Testors enamel seems to turn out with a much better finish, at least for me.
  25. Here is my last option on engine choices. It's the Roush 451 C.I. from the Revell 1956 Ford pickup.
