  1. I know what you mean Ray. I already have some idea's rolling around in my head.
  2. Looking good. I always liked the body style of the Barracudas.

Really nice looking Hot Rod. Love the color and all the detail work.
  4. Thank's Greg. Yeah that's the look I like. I have a 49 Chevy restomod 1:1 and it still looks like a 49 from the outside but driving as like a new truck.
  5. I appreciate the offer Chris but between the wife and I I'll have another shortly.
  6. That blue looks pretty sweet. Is that a metallic?
  7. I stand corrected. I think your right.
  8. Thanks Mark & Steve. I found one empty pill bottle so I'll have to wait for another. I checked and it's just the right size.
  9. The show was called Home Improvements.
  10. Thanks for the info Dave. I found a couple pics I saved some time back. Just thought it was a neat idea not knowing I would be doing it myself.
  11. That's what I was thinking about Dave. I saw some pics of the pill bottleS used as tubes but can't remember where I saw it.
  12. I went out into the garage this morning to take the trash out and I had to do a little cutting. So....I pulled out the Dremel with the 1 1/2" cutoff wheel and the sanding drum. I made some rough cuts and it's looking like what I was wanting. Still need to clean up the cuts but I'm getting excited about this now.
  13. Yup. I was just thinking out loud. As the title says "Pro Street".
  14. Nice looking truck. Looks like it just come off the show room floor. That Rust-Oleum Cherry Red looks nice. After color sanding did you re-shoot it with the Cherry Red or just polish it? Great looking truck.
  15. I see that Model Roundup has the 51 Henry J in stock now. This means my local hobby shop should be getting them in any time. I'll have to make a trip to the hobby shop next week.
  16. Yup.....Gasser would be kewl. I have a straight axle somewhere.
  17. I don't really know just yet Riley. Its just to early. I did see a nice set of wheely bars in my stash.
  18. Here's a test I did some months back. Hard to tell the difference between the three.
  19. Yeah baby.....that's what I'm talking about. That thing is down in the weeds man. Blue is my favorite color so you know I'm diggin it. Everything just looks great but that chassis is killer man. Love all the mods. Great job.
  20. Ok fella's....I've been wanting to try my hand at tubbing something out for a while and I think I found my Huckleberry. Doesn't look like I'll have to cut into the chassis which is great for my first time. I'm thinking it's just going to require cutting into the wheel well and into the bed and then making some tubes for the bed. Once I get everything cut and modified I'll be stripping the body. Not sure on a color as it's just to early in the game. The one pic shows the look I'll be going for except the rear wheels will be tucked in the fenders.....hopefully. Maybe a straight axles under the front and make a Gasser.....just thinking out loud. This will be a VERY slow process fells's. All input and comment's are welcome.
  21. Ok...think I have found a doner for my first tub job. This is the Revell 1956 Ford truck. Looks like all I may need to do is cut into the bed and leave the frame along. I also have a little room to push the axle a little closer towards the frame to get the truck even lower. Anyone ever done this on this truck? It's the 56 Foose addition. Not sure when I'll get around to working on this but I'll start a thread when I do. The Goodyear slick are what I'l be using. Not the other tires shown.
  22. Yup. That looks pretty good JC.
  23. Yeah I think your right.
