The paint on your VW looks really nice. You say you painted it with Rust-Oleum but the pic of the Ivory paint can is Krylon.

Never was a big fan of the soccer mom rides but that looks pretty kewl. Nice job.

This is my best paint job to date and this is about as good as it's going to get for me. This was painted with Rust-Oleum flat white primer and cleared with Tamiya clear pearl. I've tried all the different flavors of craft acrylic paints, Testors enamel, Tamiya Acrylics & lacquers through my air brush, and a host of different brands of rattle cans. The one thing I do know for sure that works very well for me every time is the Rust-Oleum 2X gray & white Flat primers. I've come to terms with I'm never going to get that mirror finish paint job and I'm ok with that.

Thanks Dave. I'm glad I got that white top painted when I did. It's 19° now and we are supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow. I went with the seat color I chose is started to look good. Maybe a couple more coats then a matt clear finish.
