  1. I appreciate the kind words Christophe.
  2. Nice looking pair of classic muscle there KK.
  3. Thank's KK. I appreciate it.
  4. Oh yeah....that's a looker for sure. Your right about painting black but that black is killer dude
  5. Looking pretty kewl there. A "Slant Hemi". That is a little different but I like it. Reminds me of the old slant 6 Dodge came out with back in the day.
  6. Ok....just did a dry fit. I didn't want to set the body down on the fenders to had and take a chance of scratching the paint. Yup, it's already a little to shiny so I'm not going to wet sand it, just polish. I really like the two colors together. Going to be a nice little "Sleeper". I'm a happy camper.
  7. Thanks Ray. I'm thinking now I may just polish the body and fenders as it's already pretty shiny. Once the lacquer drys and I fit the body parts on the chassis I'll know.
  8. Thanks Ray. I wish we had that kind of weather here. I have to watch and make sure the humidity is below 70%. If not the results can be a little milky looking. Don't ask me how I know.
  9. Thanks. Yeah....it's starting to grow on me.
  10. That happened to me on my 32 Sedan and I glued it back and added a small brace.
  11. I got the body parts cleared this morning with lacquer and they came out pretty good. Two light coats and two wet coats with 20 min flash time between coats. I still need to wet sand and polish them. The lighter color on the body is a little darker than I wanted but the Anita's Vanilla Cream I sprayed came out spotty so I used what I had on hand.
  12. I appreciate it buddy. I'm set for the Winter.
  13. I know what you mean Ben.
  14. That looks pretty slick. Color choices look great.
  15. I wasn't sure just where to post this. Since I paint outside and winter coming on I thought I would airbrush a few bodies to hold me over for the winter. All three were airbrushed with Anita's acrylic craft paint, cleared with Rust-Oleum Lacquer, wet sanded, and polished. This painting process is the best I've came up with so far but it's still a work in process. Anybody else paint models ahead like I'm doing? 1) AMT 1953 Crown Victoria 2) AMT 1955 Chevy Cameo Pickup 3) Revell 1956 Ford pickup
  16. Good looking truck and the updates look great. I like the ol Flatties. I may not last another 12 years so can you hurry up a little on that ☺
