Looking at the front suspension I can't get it any lower unless I cut into the Wheel wells where the black lines are. So, the mock up I did is about as low as it's going to get.
-
Ok....just did a mock up and it's a little hard to hold the pieces in place but it looks like I'm going to need to remove at least an 1/8" from the rear coil springs to get the ride height in the rear like I want it. I'm going to start out with 1/16' and steady as she goes ☺

The wheels and tires are from the Revell 56 Ford pickup (Foose). They are staggered and worked well on my 60 Chevy pickup as well.

Super clean. The purple stuff

50/50 with Windex. -
John that is some really nice looking foil work. It reallly makes the red stand out even better. Those wheels & tires look fitting for the 40 Ford. Nice looking so far.

Interesting conversation. For me....although I have never measured my concoctions I would use the little plastic measuring cup that came on the cough medicine bottle to get it close when I first started airbrushing. I don't even do that anymore. If you have any time behind an airbrush you just know when it is right. Once you start spraying you'll know if it's not right. Just my 2¢ worth.

What a kewl looking little Altered drag Bug. The faded in paint job looks pretty sharp. Nice job.

Good looking Camero. Man that thing has some serious HP on the business end. The blue wheels against the silver body really make a statement. Nice job.

Really well done and the colors look fantastic. I like the swamp cooler. Looking forward to the 51 Henry J that's coming out next month.

I appreciate the comments Dave. -
I love the old fat fender cars & trucks. Job well done on both. Dad's yellow is really eye catching.

The iconic 69 Camaro. They never get old and you did a nice job on this one. Love those wheels & tires.

Nice look. Great job on the build. Can't go wrong with black and tan interior. I use a lot of the Tamiya Buff for interior.
-
Nicely done. The red and white combo looks as it should. I see this kit all the time at HL but never have bought it. I prefer the 65 & 66 but after seeing yours I may have to get one. Great job.

Really nice job on the 55. Like others have said, the two tone color looks pretty darn good along with the slightly lowered stance. I can't tell if it's foil or paint but the trim looks fantastic.
-
Good looking Lincoln. I think the brown looks pretty eye catching. Nice job. I really like the paint on the T-Bird.

Thank you sir. -
Yeah that color looks great. I tried airbrushing some Testors paint mixed 50/50 with lacquer thinner and I didn't like the outcome. Probably got it on a little heavy.

Which Craft Paint Do You Prefer?

I use craft acrylic paints on all my bodies. Since I use Rust-Oleum Flat Gray primer I like the Anits's brand since it is made by Rust-Oleum. I also use the Delta Ceramcoat paint. I just finished this 34 pickup and it was airbrushed with FolkArt acrylic paint since the Anita's brand didn't have the color I wanted. -

I was just going through my parts boxes yesterday looking at what I had and came up with this. It's a 29 Roadster body and the wheels are from the 66 Nova Pro Street. I was thinking it would make a wild looking little drag car. -
Thanks Bill. Your El Camino looks pretty kewl. Think I'm leaning more towards the Classic look now instead of the Pro Street look.
