  1. Boy that looks so kewl. Great job. The driver in the trunk area of that Dodge looks wild. I think a night time shot with flames coming out of the headers would look kewl.
  2. I probably missed someone so thanks everyone for your kind words. I do appreciate it fella's.
  3. That's one tuff looking Dodge. Nice weathering. You turn out some nice looking models Mario. I may have missed them but do you build any Hot Rods or Drag cars?
  4. The blue is nice and shinny. Great looking build. Photos look pretty kewl. Nice job.
  5. Holly smokes Dave. That is a Looker for sure. Very Very nicely done man. I can't tell you how much I like these ol 59 Chevy. They were like boats back in the day but like a luxury home on the inside. nicely detailed and the color is very fitting for that car. Two thumbs up dude.
  6. Yup....sound's like that will work. its supposed to hit 50 degrees tomorrow afternoon and sunshine so it looks like a good day to give it a shot.
  7. Thanks Gareth. Its suppose to hit 50 degrees tomorrow afternoon and sunny. I think I'll give it a go.
  8. Looks like a nice beater. Great job for parts out of the box.
  9. That will be a nice winter project James.
  10. Looks pretty good to me James. Did the tape pull up any of the paint?
  11. HL is where I get all my acrylic paints. I like the Delta Ceramcoat paints as well as Anita's and FolkArt now since it came out pretty good on my 34 pickup.
  12. I appreciate the info Trevor. Yeah, I plan on leaving the body in the house until it's time to paint. I want everything to be warm. I guess once I spray the body I could leave it outside with a plastic tub over it for about 15-30 min then bring it back in. I'm going to give it a shot when the time comes.
  13. I have this posted in my 61 Impala thread but I thought I would post it here to get a few more eyes on it. Cold weather has hit here pretty quick and I didn't have a chance to get the body of my 61 Impala painted. My question is, If I have my garage warmed up above 60 degrees, paint has been warmed up before mixing, can I step outside my garage where it's about 45/50 degrees and airbrush a coat and step back inside the garage were its warmer to let it cure awaiting the second/third coats. Same with clear coating. What effect would this have on the quality of the paint job or would it just take longer to dry? Or.....is this a bad idea?
  14. I would really like to get the body painted so I have a question for you paint experts. If I have my garage warmed up above 60 degrees, paint has been warmed up before mixing, can I step outside my garage and airbrush a coat on and step back inside the garage were its warm to let it cure awaiting second/third coats. What effect would this have on the quality of the paint job? Or.....is this a bad idea?
  15. Thanks man. Yeah....I have 3 of the kits that I use parts out of. Nice wheels and engine.
  16. That looks kewl. Very well done. Looks like the Ford 8N my neighbor use to have. I see the Revell Porsche Diesel Junior 108 Model Kit at HL all the time. I'd thought about getting it but just never have.
  17. Haha....now that is just to kewl Dave. Really looks good. Where did the P-38 fuse come from?
  18. Boy that brings back some memories of the old "Back To The Future" movies. Nice clean build. Looks pretty kewl.
  19. Nice build. Looks really good. I like the 2 4's on the engine with the fuel lines ran. Nicely done.
  20. Yeah that orange it NICE. Can you share your painting process with the Splash Paints?
  21. Well....looking at the weather forcast for the next 10 to 15 days the weather is just getting colder. Looks like I may have lost my window to get the 61 Impala painted. I'll need one day above 65 degrees to paint and another good day to clear it. I don't think it's going to happen but we'll see. May have to put this one off until Spring. Good thing I painted 3 bodies a few weeks ago for Winter builds.
  22. Nice job on the cab. I remember the old Checker & Yellow cabs around here when I was a kid.
  23. WOW...that is a Looker for sure man. Could pass for a 1:1. That orange just pops with the car. Nice job.
  24. That's a nice clean looking build. That red is NICE looking. Looks squeaky clean.
