K. It has been curing for about 1 1/2 hrs. Can I spray it again wetter???

I have my 65 Impala test body painted before I repaint the Nova. I airbrushed the Tamiya X-7 Red yesterday morning and about an hour ago I sprayed it with the Tamiya TS-13. I sprayed all this in my makeshift paint booth. I'm looking for options on my next step. Wet sand or just polish? It still looks a little rough to me.

Ok.....I sprayed 5 coats of the Tamiya TS-13 over the Tamiya X-7 Red on the Impala test body. These pics or roughly 1 hr after I sprayed the TS-13. What do you fellows think??? The finish still seems a little rough looking to me. Should I wet sand or just polish with Novus?

I wet sanded the body and polished it with Novus. It came out a little better but not to my liking. It's now in the drink.

Tom the seem is noticeable on the bottom as well just not as bad. Lesson learned fellows. Still in the learning mode.

Thanks for the tip Greg. Well.....I wet sanded the Nova with 4000, 6000, and 12,000 then polished it with Novus 2. It took a lot of the imperfections out but I didn't like the way that it looked so it's in the drink as we speak. I have the 65 Impala test body curing that I painted yesterday with the Tamiya acrylic paint. I'll be spraying the Tamita TS-13 this afternoon hoping for some good results. If this doesn't turn out satisfactory to me then I'm at my wits end and don't know what to try next if anything.

The green looks pretty kewl Tom and the stance is killer. Still trying to get the paint worked out on my 66.

peteski, it's mine. I just got into modeling about 3 months ago so didn't even think about it. What is a good putty to use to fill cracks, dents, etc.?

Nice. I use the Rust-Oleum 2X primer. This is the magnifying glass I use.

K. I just airbrushed some of the Tamiya acrylic for the first time and bought a can of the TS-13 to try. Care to share how you sprayed the TS-13? How long of a flash time between coats etc.

I hear ya Mike. My problem was a lot of times I'd have it 180 degrees out.
