I got some parts cleaned up and ready to paint.. Some parts I painted the other day have dried and ready to assemble. I don't like the decal set that came with this kit so I may go with this one I pulled out of an old 1950 Chevy truck kit.
Got a little clear on the body this morning. Still needs to be wet sanded and polished. I think it's looking good so for. Wasn't to sure at first but I like the colors once I got some lacquer on it.
That looks really nice Mario. I like the blue. I always liked the running boards to be black as it breaks up the color. Very well exicuted build. I'm kinda parcel to 37 Ford pickups since I had a 1:1 street rod.
Most of the paint I use says you can handle in 20 min, re-coat in one hour, and cured in 24/48 hours. I normally let primer set for 24 hours. When I'm airbrushing acrylics I normally spray 5 coats and let it flash 20 min between coats.
