  1. Happy returns Technics. Always great to see builders come back to the hobby. Suggest you pass on the black rear end as it was done on the 935/77 but not on this K3.
  2. Final elements have been completed, fabricated rearview mirror aero shield and adding the competition style wind screens. This project is done!
  3. Nice to see you posting stuff again. I hear the Hasegawa is the better 962 kit so very much looking forward to see you apply your skills to it. I see in the background that the R8 Gordini is still alive!
  4. Built just like a real car... but at 1/24 scale. This is special.
  5. Great project Harald, definitely one to follow closely. I finished (and posted in other racing category) the Fangio 300 SLR. Good old kit but lots of modifications were needed.
  6. A few hour went into this one component, a fuel filler cap. It's a bit over scale but that's about as small as I can handle with my fat clumsy fingers
  7. Both figures and car look totally awesome!
  8. Beautiful stuff. Definitely up to your very high standards.
  9. The refreshing color scheme is really nice. The chassis and powertrain are beautifully detailed and all the colors and textures add so much visual interest.
  10. Incredible build Tomasz. Such gorgeous detailing but what always impresses me with your builds is how each component is always uniquely and perfectly weathered. Definitely the most real looking builds I have ever seen. I am a huge fan of your work.
  11. Incredible,,, speechless,,,
  12. Some of the exterior detailing elements. Please take note that this is a gentleman's racing club. Elegance is a pre-requisite...so we keep the bumpers!
  13. Yup, Graham Hill, the ultimate gentleman racer driving a Jaguar. Works for me!
  14. Thank you Alan, I was not too sure but now I really like the red on dark green theme.
  15. I don't wait for his store inventory to be updated (he has yet to show the outlaced Borranis he developped at my request months ago). I just e-mail Jason (contact.jackmodelling@gmail.com) with my requests and he emails me a PayPal invoice, then the parts come in in 7-10 days.
  16. Thanks Mark. Finish is not my best but acceptable. Mostly due to my lack of experience preparing a metal body.
  17. Body has been polished, decals added and Quick Shine seal coat applied. Mating of body to chassis was uneventful and the stance looks correct for this car. What's left is body detailing (lamps, wind screens etc), and I need to see which kit parts will need a bit of upgrading.
  18. Thank you Ken. I'm happy I added the driver as he adds a bit of detailing to otherwise a rather simple kit.
  19. Jim, I suggest you try brushing it on, it is incredibly easy and leaves no brush marks. I clean the brush first with dishwasher soap and then clear water. This is brushed on 2 days after I polished the clear coat underlay and applied decals.
  20. Sorry for late response RM, I have had the same issue with cracks in the finish with Future (even though the clear under was acrylic). Since adding a week's time for the clear to fully cure before polish & decals and then another 2 days before Future has solved that. Same process now with Quick Shine and no issues.
  21. Hard work has paid off, the body looks mighty good. I love a mock up mid way through. Confirms all is still good buts mostly provides motivation to carry on.
  22. Looks great Matt. The wheels painted black really look the part and adding some detailing will add tons of realism. Cool project! Where did you find the driver figure? Looking for a good source for these.
  23. Anybody has experience with the Profil 24 Aston Martin DBR1? I'm thinking this would be a good subject for my second (only) resin build but looking at pictures of the kit it looks very detailed... and very intimidating. The kit represents the 59 Le mans winner.
