    Long story short, bleeding through the paint and showing through the paint are two different things.

    I picked up the Deserter kit from Hobby Lobby. I'm wanting to start something. Either turning this into a Blazer, making a long bed with the plow truck, or building my '92 S10 long bed.

    You could stretch out a spring and wrap it with electrical tape.

    Lol. You actually inspired me to take it out of the box. I'm going to see if I can use the '84 pickup front clip on it and scribe on the half roof.

    I haven't done anything with this in a long time. 1972 GTO to Lemans. I don't remember it looking so rough.

    I just joined (obviously) and wanted to say hello. I'm always picking up kits to be built eventually but the actual building part sometimes comes few and far between, so I have a decent pile. I bought a house and moved six years ago and even though the house is bigger I don't have a hobby room anymore, so I haven't been building very much. I've been lurking around here a lot recently and felt it would be nice to join to talk with others about our hobby and maybe it will motivate me to build more again. I used to be a member at that closed down forum (although I hadn't posted there in a long while) so I recognize some names and look forward to talking with you all. If you don't mind I'm also going to see if I'm able to post a terrible pic of something I built.
