  1. Thanks for the info.
  2. I was looking to do it with easy to find parts. I don't mind playing with the nose, I've already worked on the terrible '72 nose so I have some practice, but the hood looks like it would need more than I might be able to fix.
  3. Pictures might help. Everyone likes pictures.
  4. How far from stock is the nose and hood? I have some 72s and would like to make one a 70. I see I would at least have to open up the headlights and probably make grilles. The hood looks funny to me.
  5. We are seeing the same ads right? Just now, amazing inventions:
  6. Lol, amazing inventions. That one is on my screen right now.
  7. I didn't think about it enough before I decided to open my mouth. I remembered my '87 had the 4 speed overdrive which was used only a few years so they were hard to find. '88 was the first year for the M5OD 5 speed overdrive which is what I swapped in mine.
  8. It's a stick. Edit. You're probably referring to it not being available in '81.
  9. While it was probably done on purpose, that just looks like a broken fender emblem to me.
  10. I thought it was hilarious. I hope my soul is okay...
  11. I like it, but I would like it more with stock hood grille and bumpers.
  12. A little yellow food coloring to "weather" it.
  13. That's really cool. A lot of parts for such a small truck.
  14. I think cooking oil would be good, like vegetable oil.
  15. That's awesome.
  16. Yes the tow truck wouldn't be the best choice, but the front clip is very close to the same as the street pickup after cutting out the engine top.
  17. I'm not sure if these are exactly the same, but they came from the Barris T Buggy kit.
  18. This one is also 1/25.
  19. I really like those rims. I'll give another vote for blue.
  20. It's 1/24 like the plow truck and big game. Looks like the same cabs for all three.
