Very, very nice, beautiful work. Indeed funny to see some small GM design influence (Twin "lipstick" caddy tail lights).

Fuzz Duster - Round 2 serves it up LAME!

Talking about foreign imports...& imports fighter of the malaise era, remember getting this over spoiled odity from mpc, back in 1982, hope round2 will seriously consider a reissues Volare/Aspen, not a fan either & surely one of the best examples of US malaise car era especially the disguised Road Runners & R/Ts versions,... pure jokes! -
Excellent work! perfect color too Recall getting the convertible ARII kit back in 1994 (also boxed by IMEX).

Very, very nice work! some of those 1/32 Lindberg car kits of the 70s are great looking, really nice curbside kit series for the times. Also reminds me of one of my great grand uncle who bought a brand new white/burgundy interior, 2dr coupe Granada back in 1975, also got the same kit back in 78 at local K-Mart!

In fact MPC people updated the original factory Mako Shark concept car kit, to a 70s street & custom Mako vette look: 1st with the Street Shark in 73, then the Fever Vette of the late 70s & the Custom Vette in the 80s (mostly the fever with different decals), with as already mention a few changes to parts/decals from one revised reissue to another. Back in the 70s a few aftermarket Cos were manufacturing fiberglass parts to convert 1/1 C3 Vettes to a Mako Shark, MPC people took notice & gave us the Street: Shark / Fever & Custom Ones:

Good news, long time no see for the Revell K100 flatop GREAT KIT! Looks like the new reissue, wont be the "Australian" version of the very first flatop K100 kit of 1984: (Most of Revell & a few Monogram US truck kits are still with Revell in Germany (Poland), surely the same with this kit).

Very last Bill Mitchell daring design, a 1971/72 would be fantastic, sure that a 1/25th kit will be on the store shelves ONE day, WHEN??? by who? my guess: Revell,. will see...

Got them all way back then in the 70s & 80s, not the best but pretty easy to get together, that's what I thought back then AMT launched the 1/16 series back in 1976-77 (55 & 57 Chevies), 1978 (55 & 57 Thunderbirds), Mustang cpe was the last in 1979 (very bad front A arms! + read that a convertible was also planned back then but AMT was in bad financial situation :MATCHBOX takeover era), the 1/16 series was to compete with MPC & Revell 1/16 car kits. AMT choose to make those kits pretty basic, to get a bigger chunk of the younger modeler market, compared to MPC or Revell, the parts count was a bit lower & the level of detail & accuracy passable but not terrible for such large scale car kits: FRONT metal axle for front wheels!!!! (no steerable front wheels?) opening doors yes but not fitting perfectly, no opening trunks? (except for nomads kits), HUGE sparkplugs /hoses vinyl wiring, not the best compared to other 1/16 scale, but the subjects (classic darling cars) were very well chosen, 2 in 1 for all kits included factory stock or typical "70s street machine" optional parts: mags, engine parts,,etc. the series continued in the 80s under Matchbox & later ERTL takeover. In the 90s many kits were discontinued but a few like the 57 Chevy Convertible, the 64 Mustang & the 55 nomad (reissued in original 70s boxart in limited edition back in 1995/96), made it thru the 90s.
