  1. It must have a small crack in the body, but I've looked it over and can't see anything. The last time I used it, sprayed fine, I cleaned it and put it away, got it out to use again and it don't work.
  2. I've tried 2 different bottles and 2 cups. With the new cup it will spray a tiny bit, but not like it should with the needle opened all the way. Sprays nothing but air with the bottles.
  3. It's never had an o-ring that I know of. I've never taken the body off.
  4. I just got tired of messing with it. Cleaned it about 15 or 20 times, checking over and over again and can't find anything wrong with it. It shoots air fine, but it's not suctioning the paint. I've checked all over looking for a crack or something but can't find anything. I wish I could get it working because the Iwata is nice for small parts but the H does a better job with large parts like bodies, frames, etc.
  5. Looking good Bob. I've never seen that kit, I'll have to see if I can find it.
  6. I've ordered from Burbank House of Hobbies and they are very quick about shipping, and I live in Georgia. Their prices are good also. I also order from Model Roundup which is in Georgia and they are quick to ship. Shipping cost are high everywhere. now.
  7. Some progress on the chassis. Still like a few parts to install then get the wheels and tires on it.
  8. Yes, got mine at Harbor Freight. They are carbide and will break easily, but there is 2 of each size in the kits. I bought 2 kits. Very sharp and will cut through plastic with ease.
  9. I got my first kit when I was 12 years old in 1963. I can not remember much about it except I think it was a 32 Ford kit by AMT. I do remember sitting at our kitchen table with my Dad helping me put it together. After that I was hooked, starting getting kits when we could afford them for a few years. Then I discovered real cars and girls, kit building went away for a while, then getting married raising a family I was out of it for several years. Got back into a little in the 80's and 90's. Then out again until last year when I started back. Now retired I am really enjoying it again.
  10. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. But this has really got me baffled. I have cleaned it several times, there is no blockage. Air pressure is fine, turned it up to 50psi, no go. I use generic lacquer thinner to clean it after I spray enamel, nothing works. So I got a new needle, cap, bottle, cup. It still will not spray. Air comes out fine, plenty of pressure. It does now spray a tiny bit, but it would take all day to cover a body with it. It's not my compressor setup because it works fine with my old Harbor Freight setup. So I bought a new Iwata Neo from Hobby Lobby, it works great.
  11. A little progress on the Nova.........the black doesn't show up well in the photos.
  12. Thank you John. I've noticed the molotow pen gets dull after several uses, it's not as bright as it was when new.
  13. Thanks Bob. My hand is not so steady either. The trim was well defined, which helped, but it doesn't look as good as BMF. I have trouble putting on BMF, I need to practice with it more.
  14. I've had this set of needle files for several years, got them to work on my handguns. Use them to clean up parts and also the handle is great for holding and using my carbide mini bits. Made by General Tools.
  15. Looks great. Really nice weathering.
  16. Beautiful Chevelle. Nice work.
  17. Nice. Color is great.
  18. Nice build. Don't think I've ever seen that kit.
  19. Thanks Mike. My wife is going to have a knee replacement done in a couple of months so I'm gonna try and get a few done before then. Once she has it done and gets home she's going to need my full attention for several weeks so there will be no kit building then.
  20. Thanks David. I used a 2mm Molotow pen. Seems to work well. I got the 1mm also, been using it to highlight interior and other small detail.
  21. Started on this one. Building the drag version, OOB build with some engine wiring. Testor's Yellow Enamel, Revive It Gloss. All comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  22. Fine looking gasser Bob. Nice work.
  23. Been checking prices of some MCW, Dupli-color and others and I think I'll just use my Testors orange. I've got Testors Orange Enamel and Acrylic, I think either one will be ok.
