  1. For some reason my Paasche H has stopped working. It blows only air, will not suction up the paint. It will not even spray water. I have cleaned it over several times, there is no blockage. I have tried different bottles and cups, no go. Hole in bottle top is clear. I can't figure it out. It should spray but it does not. Last time I used it was a couple of weeks ago spraying some Testors enamel, cleaned it good before putting it away.
  2. Looking good Bob. I'm looking to get this kit soon.
  3. Thanks guys. I'm not a perfectionist, so anything close will work. I'm working on a 69 Nova 350 right now but want something I can use for most of the Chevy engines.
  4. Does anyone make a Chevy engine orange paint? I know Testors use to, but can't find it anymore. I can find it in the Dupli-color engine paint brand at the auto parts store, can that be used on styrene plastic?
  5. Well heck, sorry, didn't see it was already posted.
  6. Apparently HL is clearing out some of their model kits. I was in Tallahassee this morning and stopped in there, got a couple of kits that were regular 29.99 for the clearance price of 7.50.
  7. Thanks David. Thank you. Thanks. Thanks Bob.
  8. Painted with Tamiya Park Green Acrylic and generic white gloss. OOB except for tires and wheels, wired engine. All comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  9. Thanks. Already finished with this one, but I will keep those tips in mind for the next one.
  10. Slowly getting there.............
  11. Thanks all. No hurry, so I'll keep waiting. Was just wondering.
  12. Thanks Mike. I ordered distributors and carbs. Wanted to try them out. I have used distributors from Connkur and thought they were good. I then tried making my own, but I don't like how they turn out most of the time.
  13. Has anyone done business with MAD? How was your experience? I ordered from them 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything from them.
  14. Thanks Alex. It would look better if it was lowered a bit, but I've already got most of the chassis done and painted. I think the stock tires would have made it look lower. I'm not very good at figuring out how to lower it but I will look at it to see if there is something I can do to get it down a bit.
  15. Rainy and humid today but I got the color on ok.
  16. Thanks Joe. Thanks David.
  17. Thank you Joe. Your comments are much appreciated. It was frustrating as you know, but it sits proudly on my shelf.
  18. Saw in one of your videos where you picked up that #29 Cartoon Network NASCAR model. I built a lot of the old Monogram NASCAR kits back in the day, you got a good deal on that one. I never built that one, but I did online racing back then with the old Papyrus NASCAR 2000 PC game. We had a online racing club where we ran NASCAR races once a week competing with each other on one of the game servers. That #29 Cartoon Network car was the car I ran most of time, so that brought back some memories. I've seen the kit on ebay going for around 15 to 25 bucks. I may just pick one up and build it.
  19. Suggestions, comments etc. all welcome. Thanks for looking.
  20. I think this is about where I want it. I'm using tires from a 97 Mustang, they are wider and a little shorter than the stock tires. They may make the front look a little too high maybe? The rears stick out just a hair from the fenders, doesn't look too bad I don't think but I could tuck them in a little by snipping some off the metal axle.
  21. Yea, that's looking great Bob.
  22. Got the Desoto Firedome Hemi ready, just need to do some paint touchup. Got primer on the body, I'll be going with Tamiya X-28 Green. Plan on doing white accents if possible, I've always liked the paint scheme on Tim Allen's 56 model.
  23. That's looking good. I don't plan on lowering mine, but I want to try and use some different tires. Thanks Bob.
