Saw this on the facebook model car builders group. Gave it a try and seems to work good, perfect fit for 30awg wire, and looks close to scale. Paper clip rubber coating..............

Starting this one next............

This started out as a paint test on the body. It's Testor's Orange Tangerine enamel from the small bottle. Mixed 50/50 with generic paint thinner. I had already used some of the parts from the kit on another build, so had to use some parts from the parts box. Ended up with a fuel injection engine instead of the carbed version in the kit. All comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Interior done. The black paint didn't lay down very good and has spider webbing in it, but it kinda makes it look weathered so I'm leaving it alone. Maybe ole cousin Bubba done run outta money after all that engine work and couldn't upgrade the interior.

Didn't have the pro street rear meats because I had used them on another build a while back. Had to go with the slicks, so ole cousin Bubba will have to watch out for the County Law when he cruising around the Georgia back roads. I had to use some different wheel backs also, so I will need to get a better fit with that right side. Nothing is glued in right now. Also need to touch up that right spring with some black wash.

Thanks Mike. Thanks Bob. LOL......that is true. Not sure if that is what they are supposed to be or not, I just painted them red because I liked the look. I had a set of cherry bombs back in the day and they were shaped different than these muffins.

Looking good Bob. I picked up one of these at HL a couple of weeks ago. Not sure which way I will go with it yet. I think I want to keep it a delivery van, but I don't like Coke so I'll figure something else out.

Thanks Bob. Looks like the same color also. I think mine is Testors Gloss Tangerine. Thank you. I shot the interior parts today with some Createx Brite Green, but don't like the way it came out. Thinking of changing it, black interior would probably be best.
