Thanks Greg. Thanks Carl. Thank you.

Thanks. I don't plan on lowering the front, just showing the wheels I want to use. The rear tires I want to use are a little taller and wider than the kit tires, so I may need to do a little work to make them fit. I like the back to be a little higher than the front.

Actually the front tires are from the kit and I don't plan to lower it, I was just showing the wheels I want to use. The rear tires are some from my parts box and are a bit taller and wider than the kit tires and I'm going to try to get them to work under the rear.

Thanks. Thanks. Thanks Bob. I got a different primer and tried the Tamiya again following your advice. Check out my 67 Mustang in the WIP section. Much better results. Thank you. Thanks. Thanks. The paint is dark enough so the other trim is kinda hidden. The cover came with the kit. -
Changing primer and getting some advice from a forum member (zippi) on shooting this Tamiya acrylics has helped. Paint looks much better than what I've been seeing. I'm satisfied with it. My wife wanted me to build a red Mustang, and it will certainly be red.

A few details left before calling it done. I did not have enough BMF to do the bottom and top trim, and I didn't want to try to do the bottom with a sharpie or something. So only the top got trimmed. -
Beautiful Impala. The paint is awesome.

Thanks, Thanks Chaz. Thanks Bob. -
I'll be starting this in a few days after I finish the Chevy pickup I'm working on. But I'm going to go ahead and paint it using a new to me primer to see if I can improve my paint jobs. I think the Rustoleum primer I've been using is causing a rough finish to my paint coat and it's coming out not as glossy as I would like. Never tried this Mr. Hobby stuff, so hope it does ok. Going with Tamiya X-7 red.

I think it's a 58. Anyone know of any kits of a 58 GMC pickup.

Thanks Bob. Thanks Carl. I think I like that little rake to it. Thanks. I used Rustoleum primer 2n1 filler/sandable. I'm going to try something different with my next build.
