  1. The old tires leach off chemicals and melt any styrene they touch
  2. Saw this on reddit earlier, love it
  3. I knew of a guy that would make the mailing labels as a work order, so they'd be printed and literally wait a year til they actually got mailed out
  4. Oh, no wonder HPIguy had a hard time on his video
  5. Any other kits had these wheels in them? Hopefully something easier to find. Kinda liked how the original deora kits looked
  6. The second one is a '78 done by Mike Platypus on Instagram, he left it a little long because he would otherwise have to cut a corner out of the side door. I cut down an '82 interior bucket to make it more accurate. The last one is my rip off van seen here. Probably a '76 or something?
  7. That light set is amazing
  8. The hubs are past the rockers, way higher than the 1:1 cars just posted ?
  9. This is my BADVAN Chevy made from a old Revell 1/32 ambulance and Groovy Grater parts
  10. The gold rush van is an 80s body, so you'd have to cut in a different place, but you'd have to cut about 18mm. The roof is cut in the middle to make the crown less weird. There was an article last year in the "other model magazine" on how to cut these down
  11. Thank you, the auction was for a built kit that looked like someone globbed on thick craft glue to cover the broken parts and sprayed some flake paint to cover it up. I stripped it, shortened it, and played off of the problems
  12. I would love if someone made the Ghia coupe
  13. This one is definitely not gonna be seen at Hobby Lobby ?
  14. A little off topic, but I saw a newer 2 door Wrangler the other week and I totally forgot they also came that way. It looked weird to me ?
  15. It's too bad, his stuff is really nice and I follow him on FB, but this operation has a lot of moving parts and long lead time, so it was hard for me to pull the trigger personally. I do know, in this day and age, follow up on emails and messages os very important. Shops can live or die by it. Hopefully they can streamline things and work everything out
  16. Yeah looks like the A100 van emblems. Maybe MPC got it off a Dodge preproduction van or something
  17. Ironic that they never had that Dodge lettering on the hood in that font either... I think? Oh, here's another idea. Engraved lines inside the body, interior, chassis to cut to make a shorty "for advanced modelers"
  18. The 2 with the cut out roofs are '78s. I love these 70s dodges and most times I'll just buy bad rebuilders and piece them together with '82 cuttings Here's an idea, 70s or 90s dodge cargo vans with flashed over window openings, and window units that have the trim molded on so it's a little more elegant than the amt 70s vans. Hell, let's do this with the chevy ones too. Tradesman, Sportsman, and Plymouth Voyager decals too??? Hello @SteveG put me down for a case ??????
  19. The bottom one is my "rip off van" that I posted in the "under glass" board. Not sure what what issue, but it's one with the later grille and workshop interior. The 3rd from the bottom is the "truckin usa" one and has the portholes cut out already
  20. I'm definitely gonna buy on my next visit to Pegasus
  21. This is my "rip off street van" made from a MPC Dodge van bought from a blurry ebay listing It was cheap enough that even with no body, it was probably worth it
  22. A rare kit I wish they'd bring back
