  1. The result of great imagination, engineering , design ,mechanical knowledge skills and craftsmanship . Although not in the same niche of car modelling , you inspire me a lot to better myself. Another great model. Awesome. ?
  2. Beautiful model and what a cool idea.
  3. Everything about it is perfect ! the paint job is flawless so are the details. The engine bay looks so real. Although this kit is really good, you brought it to another level. Very impressive.?
  4. Thanks John, I'm a big fan of Mopars from that era. Thanks Rusty, I think that an aftermarket conversion set would be nice to have. I left the hood close as I left pretty much everything stock and I did not repaint the engine bay. Thank you all for the kind words and appreciation. best regards,
  5. A nice kit to build. It is a repaint as the first attempt did not go well . I stripped it down and chose Tamiya French blue . A friend of mine had a dodge demon back in the late 70's. I wish round2 would have offered both the plymouth and dodge version. thanks for looking.
  6. They all look pristine. A beautiful tribute to a bygone era.
  7. Now that 's a great starting point. Looks great in this mint condition.
  8. Welcome to the forum Joe.
  9. Welcome Richard.
  10. Welcome . Looking forward to see more.
  11. Nice save and it looks like Roy Scheider's girlfriend character Vega in Blue Thunder.
  12. Nice and clean. I like the minimal trim and silver top. It looks just right.
  13. A very nice pair.i like the wheels and the big lights.
  14. Nice build and good choice for the color. The trim is pretty clean.
  15. Another beautiful build, I like the color combo.
  16. Great looking impala.
  17. Looks gorgeous, especially in this setting.
  18. Very cool
  19. Nice and clean Jag. Having built it myself, it is indeed a nice kit. Like you, I chose a lighter color. Nice collection by the way.
  20. Thanks Bruce, this is a nice kit despite the windshield height issue .Once built ,it looks really nice and the instructions are really well done especially the Revell of Germany issue. As for the backdrop, I did not a WIP on that. I am not really good at WIP's. The basics of the backdrop is Pink Styrofoam, carved , painted and weathered as needed. Not apparent on the photos but there is a small office on the second floor. If I had more space I would have made a whole street but hey, one can only dream right ? ?
  21. This a really nice kit despite it's simplicity and you did it justice. It looks awesome in white. Great job on the paint
  22. Always good to see an oldie in these crazy color it fits that era so well and a nice departure from the all shades of gray, white and black of today, although it seems that we see more colorful cars recently. At any rate, this is a beautiful chevy and like the others I was really not sure about the figure but gosh, I wish kit manufacturers would put some of these in their kits. great job on the paint job both on the kit and figures.
  23. Thanks Peter, I did not have that gap between the cowl and bonnet but the it fits really tight, I had to enlarge the hole for the pin to fit in. Not the easiest kit but a really nice model despite the flaw that Bill pointed out which won't be easy to fix but he is probably already thinking of something . Hopefully Revell might fix it in future re-releases. In all, I am satisfied with it and happy to have an alternative to the aging Heller kit. regards, p.s. Thanks to all for the kind words and comments.
