A sweet blast from the past . Great work.

Something different. Having been raised on a farm, I wanted to have some tractors in my collection. I already have "le petit gris" and the Porsche (which appears in the last 2 photos). I went for a dirty look, what good is a tractor if you don't use it ?. Build is stock, the weathering is mostly Vallejo mud and dust. This kit is very easy to build since it more modern than some older Heller kit. Had a lot of fun putting it together. The shack is scratch built with balsa wood and corrugated craft paper. Thanks for your time.

Welcome to the forum John. You're in the right place.

Beautiful build. That green looks very nice. Looks very cool with the top on.

I like the nice contrast of the colors. That red looks like it's gonna burst into flame. ?

A beautiful build Tony. The color looks great with the white stripes. I am building this kit right now and it's a joy. Great job !

You skills either at building or photographing were already very good. The photos are quite good actually and those old Jo-han kits might have lacked details but their body accuracy were almost always spot on ,and this before modern scanning equipment. They had subject mater that practically never came back. I miss those Jo-han models so much. Cherish your old models and be proud of what you did back then because it looks very good even today. Thanks for sharing.

Great build . The gritty dirty details add to realism. I like the cracked dashboard. So common back then.

Very cool build. The light blue fits the car and the period. Great work. I like the black grille.

Awesome car and model. Lamborghini always had outstanding designs. A worthy descendent of the countach !. Great photography BTW.

"This one might be my favorite to date." And for good reason ! Well, it's certainly the most striking color theme I've seen on this kind of build. I just love it. The build, the details, the photography. You just nailed it.

Amazing how a few resin part and a lot of work will do the make an already good model outstanding. Those big fat tires sure look good on it. -

What a cool project. I remember having one in the stash when it came out. I kept putting off over and over until one day it disappeared from the stash. Never knew where it went. Glad to see one built. The red scanner is a nice touch. Great job on this one Bill.

Awesome work . The flip nose is a great idea. A lot of creativity in this build. I dig it. 68 charger is my favorite year.

Great job on the caddy! It is said that it's not the destination but the journey that counts. So in a way, you and AMT arrived at the same destination but using different routes. The more work, the greater the reward. Thanks for sharing.

thanks John. Thanks James Thanks Pierre. I've waited so long for this kit, I'm just glad to have one . ? Thanks Phil. Thanks Manuel, I think this one is a new tool at least that's it said on their web site. Thanks David, I agree, it looks super cool in the movie but as a static model, I prefer the clean line of the car. Thanks Glen. Thanks you Alan. I remember reading that it was a new tool on Revell web site. Thank you Tom. Thank you David. Thanks Michelle, it can be build stock the top plug seam is big so you need to sand ,filler, sand , filler . same with the bullet proof bulkhead. They designed it to be moveable so the gaps are enormous. Thanks Chris Thank you Garry. Yes they are expensive, I paid 54$ CAD. Thanks David. Thanks Bob. Thank you Mathias Thanks Rich.

Another Autocar DC9964B .. with a twist
happy grumpy replied to Biggu's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
That's the kind of build that I like, gritty and dirty and realistically weathered. It sure looks the part. -
This the James Bond version but I did not add the gadgets, the partial roof looks silly so I plugged it and removed the seam , same with the bullet proof bulk head, tire shredders and machine gun. This car looks way better as a normal factory car. I have been waiting to build this for as long as I have been modeling. There is no engine but the details are quite good. The assembly is straight forward and I did not ran in any issues apart for a lot of sanding, it was smooth sailing. Primes with Tamiya grey primer, the closest i got color wise is Tamiya gloss aluminum clear coated with TS13. I am glad Revell put this one out even if its a easy-click model. The only thing I can complain about is the chrome, it's ok but it's not to the standard that is Revell's usually is. In all, I am pleased with the results and I can tick that one off the bucket list. As always, thanks for looking.
