  1. Forgot all about Replacements. Sh*t shower and shave. Another live bootleg that came out in like '94.
  2. I forgot that that MC5 one was live. Love the heartbreakers too. ?
  3. Well the order was probably sitting in my mailbox when I last posted. This stuff is really nice. Thank you Joseph and I wish you a speedy recovery. The third picture has one of the larger FDDs for size reference .
  4. Finally got my order from Fireball. It took a wile but I'm glad to see that Joseph is up and about. I can't say enough good things about these wheels and tires. He even casts the valve stems into the 5 slots. The B.F. Goodrich are slightly larger than the super swampers. For size comparison, I put one of the larger FDDs on the right. I know one thing I didn't order enough of the super swampers. These are really nice. Perfect size I'm looking for. Thanks Joseph!
  5. Can't believe I forgot this one. My dad would rock out to this and whos next all the time. I would rock out to Young Man Blues and Shakin' all over even as a kid never knowing they were both covers.
  6. Sorry. Posted this in the wrong thread.
  7. I've seen cars and trucks parked sideways on that hill and it looks like they are about to start rolling down. I have heard some stories where they do. ?
  8. Thee Hypnotics. Live'r Than God.
  9. That reminds me of this one I see around here at shows from time to time.
  10. For me it had to be The Hoodoo Gurus (from Australia) at the Fast Lane (a dive club in Asbury Park NJ). They absolutely tore the roof off the place. At one point the frontman was pleading with the audience to cool down. This was the stage diving era. Another great one was Echo and the Bunnymen at Rutgers basketball auditorium .Ray Manzarek was touring with them and was on keyboards. A rumor was circulating around the arena that they were going to be in this club we always went to nearby after the show. We waited but nobody could get within 20 feet of Ray. He was mobbed. Another was The Pixies (original lineup) opened for Love and Rockets at Villanova. Another time Was the Replacements at the Tower Theater in Philly. We went to a place called Brownies pub after the show and drank with them at the bar. There was a local band playing and Westerberg grabbed their bass and started to play round and round (by Chuck Berry) I just happend to be standing next to him so I just started to sing into the microphone with him. 2 of my friends were on another hot mic. There are a million similar stories like this one over the years with them. I wish we had camera phones back then like everyone does today.
  11. I would be remiss If I didn't mention Frampton comes Alive. I'm sure we all wore out that one back then. I still listen to Humble Pie today. It ages really well (RIP Steve Marriott).
  12. Looks great! ?
  13. I also remember most of the interior (were their was no carpet or floormat ) was body color as well
  14. As far as what I took my actual drivers test in, I really can't remember. I took my CDL in the Ford F-600 from my work.
  15. My mom drove that same one. Must have been a 500 because I can remember it being a real base model. Silver with black vinyl top and (really hot in the summer interior) My dad bought it new also until one day he took it and came back with this '77 Grand Prix. My mom said she never forgave him for that. Give me a minute, pic is on my phone...........
  16. Thats funny. When I started to spruce up The interior of my first car ('68Fairlane fastback) I can remember unbolting the seatbelts and throwing them right in the trash (genius move). I bet they would have a problem with that at the next inspection but I never put it on the road. Instead I sold it for twice as much as I paid for it ($200 was some good coin back then) 302 2bbl, with a 3 on the tree.
  17. My memory is not great but I remember the firewall (steel in front of your feet) being body color with those headlight buckets in black. All the ductwork was in black.
  18. Wow! beautiful job on that dash. I hope mine comes out 1/10 as good. ?
  19. It was the free ride era. We never wore seatbelts back then either. ? That changed. In the 80s I had to have all the latest gear. They had me on the consumer treadmill.
  20. When I was a kid I thought this was the greatest album of all time. I was one of those Kiss kids. (never did join that Kiss Army though) Nowadays I keep going back to X From the Whiskey a Go GO on the fabulous Sunset Strip. With The Replacements (live bootleg cassett tape that was going around then) The Sh*it hits the fans close 2nd
  21. I ordered sometime in Dec. and I still waiting I figured I would give him time to recuperate. About a week ago I got another email from him saying my order should be on its way so I guess I wait......
  22. As far as motorcycles, I had a few mini bikes before grew enough to start riding my dad's Yamaha.
  23. 1968 (may have been newer) Volkswagen square back (station wagon). My sister ended up putting it in a ditch but my dad straightened the unibody withe one of our bulldozers (we had a family excavating business) so I learned to drive a truck in an old B 61 Mack single axel. Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of that truck but somehow I ended up with some of the Brockway I spent a lot of time in. This is while we were painting it and outside the shop afterwards. The rest were all Mack's except for one International.
