    Fitting the interior pieces together, I noticed that the drink holder was totally covering the radio. I had an assortment of radio decals on a gofer racing sheet so I relocated it to the overhead console. To the left is a switch panel for the vast array of lights on this rig.

    Rob Dickinson. He's also the cousin of Iron maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson (2 bands that are nothing alike). His shop (Singer auto) is somewhere in L.A. Those Porsche guys with way too much money love him. He builds them high dollar race cars.

    Thats a good tip for the chrome. I kind of like how it looks like polished aluminum.

    After sanding with 220 and a wood block, it looks a little better. One more skim coat and I'll let it dry overnight.

    I'll have to start a new thread eventually but did a little more to my 1/16 Chevy. As I said, I'm not a fan of the T tops so I started the process of filling them in. I figured what better material to use than the windows. I actually had to do a little sanding to get them to sit down in the holes, put some glue and then used this new Tamiya filler I got after I heard some people raving about it. I do like it better than the Testors. Now I'll have to let it dry then lots of sanding. And eventually primer.

    I'm calling it the Urge Overkill van. (A band from Chicago they recorded 2 of their best albums in Philly). ? They stole their logo from the blue and orange Union76 ball

    This thing is finally coming all together. Now all the flocking is done. And I still.need to do the detail work on the body. I wound up using an old broken guitar string for the CB chord and it also worked for the whip antenna. Need to paint detail the CB and got the drink holder finished up.

    Rustoleum chrome finish (it ends up looking like polished aluminum) and it has the good nozzle. This can has lasted pretty long now and it still has some miles left in it.

    I like to get an old cereal box or something, spray it with some adhesive spray (I use 3m) put wide masking tape(4in.) Sticky side up, stick the wheels on and now you can shoot it with your favorite paint.

    Just got a bunch of Casey's resin wheels. Just washed them. Letting them dry now for painting.
