I used to have a small rubber squeegee for the 1:1 applications. Mabye I'll try that next time. -

Did both. Still bubbles. The spray on stuff came out even worse. -

Thanks Jim. I was waiting for some other paint and stuff to get here. But I decided to press forward. Made a nice spread for the bed using a fleece scarf I found at the dollar store. Glued it on waiting for the Elmer's to dry now.- 69 replies

Ok. I think that's all the flocking for now. I gotta tell ya, this is some seriously messy stuff and I think I bought way too much flocking material. Hopefully, everything will work out in the end.- 69 replies

Smoke tint window material

I have some of that stuff and I'm familiar with how tricky it is . That is probably going to be my next thing I attempt . -
I'm looking to replace the rear bubble window on my 1/16 Chevy truck with a flat piece that I can make look like a sliding job. I found the perfect piece I cut a piece to fit from a clear plastic container that I found in the recycling bin. It worked perfectly but It needed a little tint. Every time I tried to do it with automotive film, I would get bubbles that would not come out and would look horrible. Everything that I search is way too thick. Was wondering what you guys use. Thanks.

Motorcycle model availability.

Everything I was even remotely interested in was sold out. I have resigned myself to the fact that I am going to have to pay a ridiculous amount on a vintage kit. -
Shelby real or fake?

This reminds me. Did they ever determine if that Jim Morrison car was real or fake? -
I wouldn't mind building that Grand Am. Who makes that one?

Just checked their website. 19 items in the motorcycle section, not a single one in stock. The only one I had any interest in was that 1/25, 2 motorcycle kit which is kind of a vintage kit now. Looks like paying way too much (including astronomical shipping) for a vintage kit is my only option. -

I'd rather have that completely original, low mileage '73 Blazer that went for like $85k.

Probably some kind of scam. I see these things come out of China all the time.
