Pretty much what I swore never to try again

I'm trying not to have to make my own looms. I tried that once before and swore I'd never go down that road again. Way too aggravating . I wondering if there is something ready made out there . Right now I'm using the 1/25 stuff for 1/18 engines but I feel like trying it on 1/16 would be pushing it a little bit.

In anticipation for my 1/16 Chevy truck build, I'll need to use slightly thicker ignition wire. That old phone wire should be sufficient but the photo etched wire looms I currently have will probably be too small to work correctly. Any suggestions ?

Well, I was hoping that Revell might re issue this one for the new year and I decided to pull the trigger on a vintage kit. I spent a little more than I would have liked to but its one of those kits where I get to revisit my childhood type of deals. The 1/16 Chevy truck kit. The only thing I can remember about this kit is how ridiculously huge it was. I don't have a lot of parts to kit bash with this one.

I think I might go with the Fireball Red Tomato slots. Thanks guys.

Oh yea! Thanks Ron. Those are exact. They even got the headlight dimmer switch pedal. I'll have to keep an eye out for those. On a totally unrelated note, you guys had the best music scene over there in Dunedin back in the late 80s early 90s

Thanks. I found a set but they said 1/24 so I thought they would be a little big for the tires I was using. I didn't see the Starski and Hutch set. I do have to order some other stuff from him. Anybody know if he is up and running again?

Any aftermarket? Those kits are a little pricy just to get those wheels.

Are there any good aftermarket 5 lug, 5 slots out there in 1/25? Like the aluminum looking Americans from the 70s. They could be resin or from a kit.

I can't believe the money these things are bringing at these auctions these days?. I sold mine in the early 90s to some Deadhead for $800 cash. It had a fried clutch and bad fuel injection system.

Must be the supply line delays.

Does anybody know if any model ever came with the Cal Custom surfer gas pedal in 1/25 or 1/24? If anyone has one I'd be glad to trade you some part you are looking for if I happen to have one.
