  1. Send a PM to Dave Ambrose. He should be able to help you.
  2. Tom, This isn't a MCM forum issue, but I'd suggest you click on the "More Information" and add your fotki site to the Exception Site List, which should allow it to work.
  3. Looks like a fauxback box for this reissue:
  4. See this topic: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/4779-revell-4143-willys-pickup-gasser/
  5. Click on the avatar photo to the left of your screen name (at the top right of every main page, within the grey-blue header bar). That will re-load the page as your profile page, and a small icon will appear in the lower left corner of the avatar image- click on that and you get multiple image options.
  6. Perhaps you'd be willing to volunteer your time so you can implement your ideas, Cato, instead of expecting someone else to take the time and effort to explain everything to each individual member in a way that suits each of them best? Think the time that would take, and even if you drafted just one post to explain all of the changes, would you be willing to take the time to answer each member's questions and address their concerns until they're each satisfied? IIRC, Gregg let it be known publicly that the forum would be down and there would be a server changeover last Thanksgiving-ish, and there was still complaining. People complain when they don't get help quickly enough, when their questions aren't directly answered, and when they feel their concerns aren't being addresses to their satisfaction, but who's going to volunteer their own personal time to help Gregg, Harry, Dave Ambrose, etc. take care of it all?
  7. Me neither. It opens just fine in one window using Google Chrome for me. Might want to check your ad blocker or browser settings if you're having issues.
  8. test ...works
  9. 11: Monogram '58 Ford T-bird, Rockin Rods reissue I think: 12: AMT Silhouette trailer "glass" 14: AMT '65 El Camino custom grille, maybe?
  10. They're present on this '61 Pontiac Tempest tub, too, though they have no corresponding pins on the inside of the body:
  11. While very nice, those are 1:18 scale, not 1:16: Andy, do you have one of the Goodyear Eagle ST rear tires from the Revell '34 Ford kits by chance? They might work with the turbine style wheels in the GL kit. I think I have both so let me do some test fitting today and I'll LYK what I find.
  12. Hard to tell from someone's avatar, but it appears the box art build will be white and include the dual scoop hood first (and last?) seen in the JL-branded version, as it should if it's going to be a proper replica of the VP car. Hmmm, maybe the Cat Dozer is on deck, too...
  13. ^This. Great subjects, 1/12, but the attention to getting the details correct simply isn't there. I've passed up the Firebird a few times for that very reason.
  14. I'd vote for a semi-flat or matte lack for the trim. Looks good so far, though.
  15. That's the version we'll get according to Stevens' 'site.

  17. No idea, but I would guess October or so. I think it was a recent addition to the future releases, so maybe 3rd quarter or so for a street date? Wasn't there some issue(s) with the rear quarter panel's trailing edges on the Revell '67 Coronet/Charger kits? I seem to recall Roger/plowboy mentioning that and going though some effort to correct it, too. Maybe the MPC body is better in that area? I was hoping for the same thing. That '80s box art just isn't doing it for me with all the "neon" graphics.
  18. You could locate and buy an original issue kit, too, which included a stock building option:
  19. Click HERE for a look at the contents of Monogram's 1/24 scale Shelby Cobra 427 S/C kit released in 1988.
  20. It all looks very '90s AMT-ish, which is to say, very nice.
  21. Their 'site used to be a few months behind in terms of showing what's available, but it's gotten much worse within the last twelve months. Fortunately, there are other online sources from which one can glean that information easily and quickly.
  22. MPC '67 Dodge Charger Street Machine is coming, too. Not sure if that's good news or not.
  23. More news: AMT-928 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo AMT-929 1950 Ford Convertible AMT-931 1958 Chevy Impala AMT-942 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Vanishing Point
  24. Stevens is a distributor, too, so they list many of the "new" releases on thier 'site before they are announced by Round2, etc. Bookmark this, then check back often: http://stevenshobby.com/
  25. I see what you did there...
