  1. My guess would be something from a Palmer kit.
  2. The good news is the lower body cladding from the '96+ are separate parts, so the body shell is mostly useable for a pre-'94, but the interior is all '96+ so the dash, door panels, seats, steering wheel, etc. would all need to be changed for an '85-'95. I don't recall if Fujimi ever released a 2WD version, but the suspension parts in this AWD version are curbside accurate, so some donor parts could be taken from the Monogram '93 S-10 for an AWD version if you want more accuracy and if the scale difference is negligible.
  3. Entirely possible. I owned a '90 for a few years before I bought my current '95, but the Astro/Safari M-vans have always had nice (mid-size) proportions to my eyes, and the only other close option is the thick, resin Jimmy Flintstone slammer.
  4. In the Monogram 1/25 Chevy S-10 kit. Hopefully someday someone will offer an '85-94 version to use with this kit.
  5. I've used that color before, too, and it always looks great. Put it on a wagon and you've got yourself a doubly great combination.
  6. Round2 will be reissuing this kit as AMT-920, hopefully with this box art:
  7. Looks like the Deora's being reissued: AMT-926 Dodge Deora Concept Car
  8. Go here, then enter more specific things you're looking for into the search bar at the top: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Automotive-/2580/i.html?_sop=1&LH_PrefLoc=1&rt=nc&_dmd=2
  9. One might also consider the kit is intended to make enough money on its first (and possibly only) production run, making any questions regarding subsequent production runs moot.
  10. Looks like AMT's VW Scirocco kit is being reissued: AMT 1/25 VW Scirocco AMT925/12
  11. Looks like Round2 is reissuing "The General" locomotive in August or so : MPC 1/25 The General Locomotive
  12. ^This. Other than slightly modified or straight reissues, I don't see Revell dipping their foot into the large scale pond within the next decade plus.
  13. How 'bout a Pontiac Parisienne wearing Rally IIs.
  14. It sounds like a new designation from Revell, so we'll have to wait to find out what the "MAX" means, above and beyond a standard SnapTitie kit.
  15. Again with the facts? *schedules eye exam*
  16. I'm a bit surprised there's a need for another EF Civic Group A car, when Tamiya released a (very nice) Group A Civic back in '85 or so: I'm bummed the Celica has some type of non-US spec nose on it, too.
  17. You could always add a bench seat to the interior, which would allow for more clearance under the seat area. The bench seat from either the AMT '60 Chevy or '57 Chevy pickups works fairly well when modified slightly.
  18. I've run out of good things to say about your builds, Charles, as they never disappoint. Beautiful work as usual.
  19. Thanks to Brett, we do now: I think this is the first of the SnapTite MAX series of kits, so I'm guessing that means something slightly more detailed/complicated than Revell's standard SnapTite designation. It does appear the Logano car has some type of interior detail looking at the drawing/image above, so my guess is there's a promo style chassis plate upon which you add a seat, roll cage, dashboard and steering wheel, and little else. With no side windows, they can't leave the interior empty.
  20. Maybe try Mill City Replicas?: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5910&hl=mill
  21. I think these are called "fly eye" air cleaners, and that is one gorgeous piece. Sorry, not much help finding one, Monty, but do keep an eye out on eBay as I have bought a number of long OOP aftermarket items that way.
  22. See the Aftermarket Directory in the Resin/Aftermarket section.
