  1. That's normal (ain't it, Norman?):
  2. That engine/trans is a bit on the crude side, having that "kinda close but squared off in a lot a areas" look, which is typical of most Trumpeter automotive kits. The trans from behind either the AMT '50 or '60 Chevy pickup kits would be a better looking choice/replacement, but might not be 100% correct for a passenger car application. Bill would know for sure.
  3. Just an FYI for anyone bringing company who may not want to be at the show for the entire duration, there is a huge movie-plex right down the road from the Excellence center: https://marcustheatres.com/Theatre/TheatreDetail/136/ Lots of restaurants and a mall fairly close by, too.
  4. It's funny to think Revell had the stock Hummer H2 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A-like tires for almost eight years, but never had a second kit is use them on, until now.

  7. I would recommend you switch to Google Chrome. As far as I remember, clicking Compatibility View was the solution for most people using IE11, but maybe that no longer works.
  8. Thanks, Dave, and you're right about the axle. The two inboard axle locating ribs had yet to be removed when I took the above picture, but they've since been removed. The axle is from the AMT GMC Astro 95 kit, so the width between the spring packs was a bit different compared to the C-series springs/frame. I finally got four shackle pieces made from brass strip, and repositioned the rear shackle mounts on the frame for the third time: I decided to remove the axle housing-to-equalizing beam tabs, as the mounting/pivot holes were huge, and the plastic was very fragile and thin. I will use some metal, bend it and shape it, then use epoxy to permanently attach it to the axle housing. That will give everything a lot more strength and ensure nothing breaks should the suspension ever move through it's full range. I also found some .010" clear packaging "window" material which I'm going to use for the door and side window "glass," so that should add a few more months of work.
  9. I remember when she was going to be the next big thing, the Queen of Alternative rock...never happened. I think Whip Smart was the last album of hers I remember hearing about. Was that the album with "Supernova" on it?
  10. Which version of IE are you running, Sam? IE11?
  11. That's the problem, shared by many others here. Click "Compatability View" in the browser's toolbar and see if that resolves your issue.
  12. Yes. I clicked on the bent arrow, then "BB Code", then chose the size I wanted, then copied and pasted the link here. I always pare down the link, eliminating the extra stuff fotki and flickr add at each end, leaving just the [img ] ...... [/img ] at both ends.
  13. Please send it to Ron, Fred, and he can take stock of everything and decide what need to be done.

  15. Either one of the Revell 1/25 '69 Daytona kits is good. Avoid the AMT '69 Daytona at all costs-- it's that bad. Any of Revell's '68-9 Charger R/Ts are good kits, too. The original ProModeler version of the '69 had a roof issue which was fixed, but the currently available '68 and not-too-long out of production '69 are very good kit with no issues.
  16. The 1/24 Moonogram '36 Ford was discontinued a few years ago (well, maybe in 2013), and the last version was from 2009: The originals aren't that crazy in price on eBay, unless you want a perfect example-- mint box, all parts still attached to the sprues, etc. You could pick up a more recent issue and find the "missing"/eliminated parts on eBay to build the version you want.
  17. That seems to have some Jaguar/Aston Martin coupe themes to it, but the low roofline is gorgeous, and keeping some aspect of the original back window is a nice touch. Now, if you're taller than 5'8", I doubt you're going to fit comfortably behind the wheel, but it does look good.
  18. IMHO, the problem with the original is the greenhouse is too massive, especially that huge rear window. While I understand that is one of the things which made the Interceptor unique, I think it kills the overall look. Now, the clay mock up, much better. I see 240Z in the rear quarter windows and rear half of the roof, as well as some new Challenger/Mustang in the front bumper-to-fender transition/break.
  19. There are very few 4-doors in kit form, so you'll have to look to the aftermarket, and specifically resin casters, for 4-doors kits/conversions. http://resinrealm.net/ is a good place to start looking, as well as www.modelhaus.com Modelhaus makes a '67 Impala wagon, so that may end up being the closest starting point.
  20. People like you who refuse to learn how to do something new, then blame someone or something else ("It's the forum", "Photobucket is too hard!", etc.) are the vast minority here, thankfully. Had you spent a few minutes of time learning how to use a photohosting service like Photobucket instead of complaining again, you'd already be sharing pictures. No, that is not true, as we all can see in this topic for example: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89837&hl= There are a few image extensions this forum rejects, so we'll have to wait to hear back from Jeff to help him any further.
