  1. Post #79 will get us 50% of the way toward an answer. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47934&page=4
  2. Round2 has released two sizes of Goodyear Polyglas GT tires recently, and we're waiting to hear what Parts Pack #6 will contain, but yes, more updated tires would be a good thing to have.
  3. Yes, I think it would be a good idea to have a new member introduction sub-section.
  4. Don't forget the '71-only fender vents.
  5. The Revell 302s ('32 Fords) are close and in the same family as the 302W, but the 351 Windsor has a taller deck and slightly different heads. If you're not too picky, go with the SBF from one of the Revell Deuce kits. The AMT '67 Mustang's 289 is in the same Windsor family, but has the same lower deck height as the 302. I don't think there's ever been an accurate 351C engine done in bi-scale, and it's very different from the Windsor series engines.
  6. Looks like you got it figured out. Please add your full name, too, Matthew.
  7. Use a diffuser or a a shield so you have indirect light in the booth.
  8. Can you wave your magic wand and make it happen, pretty please?

  10. The 1/24 Monogram Badman kit includes a wider pair of American 200-S "Daisy" wheels, as does the T'rantula. I think they're the best proportioned 200-S wheels, and they seem closer to 1/25 than 1/24 scale to me. The Monogram '57 Vette and '57 Bel Air wheels are kinda-sorta 200-S wheels, but the shape isn't quite correct. I have seen them in an older AMT or MPC kit, too, but they were 14" and the spoke proportions didn't look right either. It's almost as if they took a 15" wheel and removed half a scale inch from the outer ends of each spoke, allowing the wheel to fit inside a 14" wheel hoop. It leaves the spokes looking stubby and truncated IMO.
  11. A Double Denim kit with the Gremlin and the MPC CJ-5, perhaps?
  12. I got pocket full of quarters and I'm headin' to the arcade... Great project. Buckner & Garcia would be proud!
  13. I want to say that was in the '84-'86 time period, as I recall cutting the header off the Billy Meyer 7-Eleven Mustang F/C instruction sheet for that very purpose.
  14. It looks like both stock and Fairbird versions were done by Hendrix, as both are listed at Resin Realm. 55 FORD T-BIRD PRODUCTION VERSION 55 FORD FAIRBIRD (T-BIRD PROTOTYPE) Is JerryK the proprietor of Hendrix?
  15. I believe he is still selling them.
  16. You'll have to e-mail him and ask for pics, as I think what he's posted on earlier pages in this topic is all he has to show for now. The best way to find out is to e-mail Alan directly and ask. His contact info is listed here: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71864
  17. Was misspelled, now fixed. Kevin added his e-mail to his signature line, too.
  18. No Turtle Wax packet included, NO THANKS. This is the only Lindberg kit I want to see reissued, and it better be in this box art, with these decals, too!
  19. How 'bout a Ringo '56 T-bird?: 1/8 MPC Honda ATC 90?:
  20. Yeah, it's not a great kit, and I knew what I would be getting, but I still bought one. I made major modifications in my build so the inaccuracies and shortcomings weren't a big deal to me, but as far as box stock build potential goes, it's best to pass on this one. However, it really is the only available AMC Gremlin kit in 1/25 scale unless you seek out and earlier F/C version, so it's either $24.99 or no Gremlin model. I couldn't agree more, and the multiple, very slightly modified reissues of the same kit is the one thing about Round2 which has me a bit concerned. Two Chevy LWB van kits, two Meyers Manx kits, two Gremlins, etc., seems to be more than what the market will support, even if they are released a few years apart. I know at least one. I wanted to check it out, and thought it was an interesting idea, but I wouldn't buy an Original Art Series kit again with the print included.
  21. Not sure which tires these are, but the width looks close to what you want: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1734
  22. I think it looks good on a Dart, without being too flashy. It's a little greener than the pic above shows, but not quite this green/turquoise: Hobby Lobby or similar, Austin, I think it's Folk Art acrylic.
  23. Toys R Us carries the Ridemakerz products, and I would think their website has 'em listed, too.
