  2. I'm surprised Skip didn't mention Roger Zimmerman's large scale builds (of the scratched variety ) here, but if you have some time, be sure to check out his 1/12 scale '57 Continental Mark II here: http://forums.aaca.org/f190/construction-continental-mark-ii-model-scale-278354.html Or some of his previous work here: http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Zimmermann.htm
  3. Skip gets the credit for originally posting this link here on the forum: http://www.craftsmanshipmuseum.com/Zimmermann.htm
  4. Yes, there was some mention here a few months ago that they were looking into it, but nothing substantial that I can recall. Check in the Drag Racing section, Tye.
  5. Here's the original(?) Part 1 post: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39079&hl=%2Bmach+%2Blights
  6. Hmmm, I though it was Jeff (jeffs396) who mentioned the transmission was too short in the '69 GTO "Judge" F/C kit, but I don't recall where I read that. Has anybody purchased the GTO F/C kit that could check and see if the trans has been corrected?
  7. Huh, I probably have at least that many images, without any missing. Are you using PBs new format or the "old" one, still?
  8. Are you requesting, or wondering aloud?
  9. I am on my wife's MacBook Pro, using Google Chrome, and when on PB there are issues- Flash Player is out of date and can't be updated (though that may be a GC issue), so you have to manually click the "run this time" each time you want to run the bulk uploader. No problems viewing the 'site nor any of my images, though. My wife mentioned needing to update to Apple's most recent OS, but that's not my area of expertise. How many images (or total amount) do you have stored in your PB account?
  10. You can watch 5 mintues of the episode, but not the entire episode. Tried last night. Looks like "The Final Touch" episode will re-air on Saturday, Nov. 24 @ 8:30AM EST.
  11. Yes. I would be willing wager a small sum Round2 is already planning to offer these as a Parts Pack set, just like their Firestone whitewalls and both sets of drag slicks, all of which appeared in kits first, then became available in a parts pack a few months later. A set of four F- and L-60 15s in each pack for $12.00 or so, and they'd have another sure hit on their hands.
  12. No offense, Rob, but in this case, I hope your assumption is 100% incorrect.
  13. AMT's 2013 releases, including the Rescue Van, were covered in this iHobby topic: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=65018&hl=ihobby&st=0
  14. Gregg has a How-To posted on the main 'site if you (Kristopher) decide to go in that direction: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/category/tips-tricks/
  15. Might as well add this at this point. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/uploads/emoticons/default_biggrin.png' alt=':D'> : http://www.joeld.net...e/geometro.html
  16. There are the 1/25 MPC kits, hardtop/Funny Car and convertible: The forthcoming (maybe already out?) MPC '69 GTO "The Judge" Funny Car can't be built stock. More pics and some info on GTO kits here: http://ultimategto.com/modbox5.htm
  17. Yep, I think I saw one or two of those versions at the Milwaukee NNL 5.
  18. Yes, I did, and he sent a replacement hood which was only slightly better. The fact that a part of such poor quality was of considered to be good enough to send to a customer is what concerns me most. I'd be interested in seeing pics of what you or anyone else received.
  19. Looks like they are still active on eBay, Philip: http://myworld.ebay....earance_decals/
  20. Is this the kit/conversion done by Joel Dirnberger(sp?) in the '90s? I stumbled upon it on eBay and recalled it being mentioned in an OTW topic:
  21. I have made very little progress on the model, but I found some very helpful information in both C.L. Zinn's "AMX Photo Archive" book and this unknown magazine(?) blurb, found on an AMC forum: I though the windshield appeared to be "leaned back" from stock, and this article seems to confirm that. Ditto for the roof cutouts which I could just make out in other pics, but wasn't quite sure why they were present. I need to find this August '68 issue!
  22. Darin, what was the source for the flip top fuel cap shown?
