  1. I may have asked about a few of these previously, but maybe not. Four dashboards first: 1/24 Monogram '69 GTO The Judge? ? MPC '69 Plymouth Barracuda? MPC '70-'78 Pontiac Firebird? Three center consoles: ? JO-HAN AMC '64 & '65 Rambler AMT '6? Impala???
  2. Thanks. The Racer's Wedge kit trans above look more like a 4L80E than a TH-350, doesn't it? 4L80E:
  3. That's it, thanks:
  4. Here's a look at the trans from the MPC Racer's Wedge '72 Chevy pickup kit from an eBay listing: And from the most recent reissue of the MPC "Deserter" '86 GMC 4x4:
  5. I think this is a transmission pan for a GM TH-350 automatic, but it's odd in that it has a small section of the trans housing molded to the backside (top, when installed), something I've never seen before. The off white plastic looks like vintage AMT or MPC plastic, and there are two locating holes on the backside, where the top of the pan meets the bottom of the transmission:
  6. The recently reissued AMT '70 Ford Galaxie kit includes two chrome plated beacon bases: The AMT Police van has three, maybe four: I would suggest creating a post in the Wanted section, as I'm sure some members have extras they could spare.
  7. Save the photo, and re-upload it. The watermark came into existence after PB started charging to host images, so if you see it, the account holder did not pay up. We no longer have the ability to edit our posts after a certain time period, so unfortunately, most of those dead (when the image was deleted) or watermarked PB images are trapped in time.
  8. They are, but I am reasonably sure all have been cleaned up and edited before being uploaded and hosted on the site.
  9. Curbside egress only: ""Crawford Paving Co." The third and final image from this series showing a Barber steamroller circa 1925.
  10. A Haynes car, and finally, tread on some tires: When a trunk was, literally, a trunk: "Circa 1916. "Hackett Motor Car Co., Jackson, Michigan." Part of the Hackett assembly plant."
  11. A few more Cadillac full wheel covers to I.D...: ?? 1976 Eldorado Promo (kit are the same?) Same as #2, just molded in turquoise Same style as #2 and #3, but less deep/thick, with tapered rim/lip 5 - JO-HAN '64 Cadillac? 6 - ? 7 - ? 8 - Must be old AMT of JO-HAN, as it has the ribbed push-through axle stub Last two are smaller, maybe 1/32 scale? Just slightly smaller than 13" wheels in 1/25 scale (just fell though AMT Compact tires), diameter of .523":
  12. Is the Chevy bowtie recessed on those Bill? Those wouldn't be too hard to get close with a raised Chevy bowtie, as the hubcap shape itself isn't too complicated.
  13. Great, competition for those 1/16 scale parts...?? Two Pyro sno-skeeters were listed and have ended within the last few days, so we likely won't see another for a few months. ?
  14. Yes, both are almost the same, save for the ski stuff in the sno-skeeter. The 1/16 AMT Firestone tires found in the '57 T-Bird and Tri-Fire Chevy kits are much better IMHO, and period correct. Several 1/16 Entex/Minicraft kits include taller tires with separate whitewalls (Minicraft '33 Cadillac for one), too. Yes. From what I recall having the hot rod pickup version years ago, the engine is well done, and it should fit the Lindberg/Pyro T with no problem. I can't recall which trans is paired with the Minicraft hopped-up Flathead, though...early Ford, I'm guessing. I think that engine would pair very well with the Revell '34 Ford Coupe, and something I plan to try eventually. No, that kit is 1/8 scale. The Lindberg Fiat Dragster is 1/12, so no help there, either. The Revell '34 Fords have some very nice parts, and make great donors IMHO. Altered States lists a 1/16 scale SOHC Ford V8, in both injected and supercharged versions. 1/16 Revell '82 Camaro/Firebird, MPC Firebirds ('80 and '82), MPC Corvettes (all)....meh.
  15. The new-in-the-'90s AMT '68 El Camino does have a very nice BBC and TH-400 auto trans, as does the similar era AMT '70 Monte Carlo. No separate oil pan on either, though. The trans in the 1/24 Revell '37 Ford appears to be a TH-700R4, based upon the pan shape: Pics of the 1/24 Revell (Monogram) '37 Ford Coupe Street Rod's trans:
  16. Have you looked closely at it? How much time are you going to spend sanding every little crevice, and making every flat surface (radiator hose inlet, power steering pump body, etc.) smooth?:
  17. Idea, good. Execution, not so much. Is the filler a mix of sawdust, molasses, and Elmer's White glue? ?
  18. A few pics of the cycle style fenders I mentioned above, and the severely cut down custom steering wheel. I believe these were from a Gee-T built up I purchased on eBay long ago: Here's another 1/16 Pyro Gee-T kit, partially built, but it provides a better view of the rear body area:
  19. I just sent you a PM, Bob.
