She had to have been older than 54. Sad nonetheless. Edit, I was thinking of her mother.

About 20 or so years ago I got a letter in the mail talking about how if you bought a CRT monitor between a certain time period you would be reimbursed for a price fixing scheme perpetrated by the CRT manufacturers. I checked it out and it was legit so I said Yea, I'm in. Every few years I would get a letter saying ' We're working on it' and I'd throw it in the garbage. The last one I received was like 9 months ago. Well a few days before Xmas I got this in the mail..... They came through, Imagine That!

'50 Chevy Sunoco PickUp
Raoul Ross replied to Raoul Ross's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
When last we visited, I was having an issue mounting the generator. Getting RL out of the way for a while I've takin this back on again. Looking at it from a early 60's garage mechanic point of view I tackled it like somebody back then with a welder and some fabricating skills would. First, make a bracket Paint it up and bolt it on! Watch out for wet Paint! heh While I was so inspired, the belt tension adjustment bracket needed to attached to something. Looking around the 'shop', a piece of flat iron is welded to it and bolted to the back to the water pump. Nut/Studs provided by Pro Tech and attached using this nifty Jewel Picker/Placer that somebody on this site pointed out, Werkt the Treat! Finished the plug wires and mounted the air cleaner and oil fill tube.... calling it Done! Next up is fitting it onto the frame and working out possible firewall/fender clearance issue. -

The Lockheed Constellation was one the great designs in aeronautic history. Wish you could find one in 1/48 without paying an arm and a leg. Great Pix!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here Bill and publicly state that I'm pretty sure you are not, nor will you ever run for, the presidency of your local Optimists Club. ?

Interesting we're talking mouse traps as I've a little bugger that did just that... licked off the peanut butter without springing the trap. I've adjusted the holder thingy so it's more sensitive now. I'll see how that werx otherwise I'm gonna try your method and 'gloo' some extenders on it. And to stay on topic, Upside Down!
