Beautifully done, and I agree - painted wire wheels look SO much better

Total beauty Ken. I'm especially liking the engine compartment. Well done as always!

Brian, you absolutely nailed it with this one! I have this kit and have thought how nice the overall shape is - if only the front and rear were different - and here you did a great job with both. Well done, and thank you for sharing. Now I'm inspired to have a go at mine

Wonderful collection Phil, and great bit of history. Thank you for sharing!

Walter, I totally dig your build! I've had a thought to do something similar, but have a 1:24 scale Messerschmitt airplane motor I want to use to keep the theme going Well done!

Great look Bill. The green and the vinyl top are SO period correct, as are the rims, tires, and stance. I love it!

Absolutely sexy beast Zach! I hope you are all about over-the-top resto mods (if that is what you call this build), because I for one can never get enough of them! Welcome to the forum.

Fantastic build James, and I can hear REO Speedwagon in the background as we speak!

Great mish-mash of parts making for a very realistic build. I particularly love the engine!
-
It's a good looking beast Mario! And your ability to make the underside look as good as the topside never ceases to amaze
-
Martin, you really must stop showing us pictures of beautiful show cars and claiming they are a model you built. It just cannot be believed!

Thank you Gary. And your eyes aren't playing tricks on you, both were designed and/or influenced by Larry Shinoda from what I understand.

Thank you much Craig

HRM June 2023 had an interesting article and great photos of a resto-modded 1941 Graham Hollywood. What an interesting piece!

Came out great Rex, and I too love the purple paint. I am also really impressed with the finish on the rims. Were they silver right out of the box, or did you paint those as well? They are a perfect brushed stainless steel look.

Thank you much Dan.
