  1. I'm digging it so far
  2. Moderator; please remove this post as I meant to put it in completed models. Thank you.
  3. This was one fun build! OOB except for drilled out exhaust. The exterior is Testors Gloss Yellow, the interior a shot of gloss yellow with Testors Fiery Orange Extreme Lacquer over top.
  4. IMHO it is beautiful just the way it is, and a time capsule to your build back then. I would put it under glass and enjoy it!
  5. Absolute beauty! Total class all the way. Thank you for posting.
  6. So cool! I remember working for GM in 1981 and going to the Milford Proving Grounds in Michigan. I saw this sporty red car in one of the parking lots, and pulled over to check it out. It was one of the very first Fieros still in testing. Two seconds later the GM SWAT were all over me fearing that I had somehow gained illegal access and was going to photograph the car. I might have, but that was about twenty years before cell phones with cameras...

Excellent rendition of this Krazy Kool Kar! Thanks for posting
  9. Wow. The nicest thing one can say in my opinion to a builder such as yourself is that it is indistinguishable from the 1:1 car - both in terms of build and your exquisite photography. Well done!
  10. Looking good Kyle, and I totally understand you wanting to start out with an OOB build....although, I will watch with interest whether you stick to the manual.
  11. OMG, that came out FANTASTIC! And thanks to the wonderful photos you showed us of the 1:1, it shows your skills all the more as you nailed "the look". Thank you for posting this wonderful build!
  12. Very classy, I love the color. I recently finished one myself, and tried to keep it as stock as possible
  13. Thank you Carl
  14. Enjoyed the photos of your build. Thank you for posting. Now I have to dig my glue bomb out and see about getting it rebuilt
  15. Ooh, one of the newest releases. I can't wait to see how it goes together for you so I can decide if I have to have one too!
  16. Just beautiful Mario, and your attention to details really show, even to the backdrop!
  17. Just beautiful Greg. I hope you display it topless though
  18. Such a beautiful tribute to such a classic car. Well done!
  19. Lean and mean, I like it!
  20. Wonderful build, and great color choices!
  21. Hanjo, thank you much for posting your build - I am watching with great interest and can see a large purchase in my future. By the way, in American we say, "don't count your chickens before they are hatched".
  22. Came out beautiful! What was the "adhesive carpet" you used?
  23. Thank you David. Now I have to decide if I want to redo the Merak my son and I did 15 years ago to add to this Maserati collection, or just clean it up and leave it in its "as raced" condition since it has sentimental value for me . One thing I'd have to figure out is how to clean the body without damaging the brittle decals...
  24. Sweet ride with sweet rims!
  25. Loving your big bad ride! BTW, I found recently that if I have a fan going on low where I'm modeling, the fumes don't seem to cause fogging - even on my clear parts.
