  1. Suh-weet!
  2. I totally agree, the interior is as gorgeous as the exterior!
  3. And then finally, a one word post; "Hirohata"
  4. So, if you have a 1:64 Hot Wheels you love, and you decide to build one 1:1 - is that called "Life imitating art"? ... ...And if we were to be inspired by this car and decide to build a scale model of it, wouldn't that be "Life imitating art imitating life"?
  5. Couple of 57 Chevy customs, including the famous Project X car.
  6. A sweet 54 Chevy done as tasteful as can be. HRM April 2022
  7. Hello All, after a break from the Hot Rod Magazine reviews, I decided it's time for us to catch up a little. So, the link to the free magazines is still up and working fine (just go to the main Hot Rod page and click on Magazines). I log on with Gmail, and have not been deluged with spam as some were concerned about. Without further ado, here are just a few items from more recent articles... Gorgeous 65 Dodge Dart like I've never seen before. Who would've thunk it could look so sporty slammed and sinister looking? HRM March 2022
  8. Thanks Carl.
  9. As you commented recently on my tired build done with my son, I totally understand the sweet sentiment behind this car. I feel so happy to have just taken mine apart, gently cleaned everything and put it back together with a sort of "sympathetic restoration" to preserve the patina as the classic car collectors say. Such a great model, and even better story.
  10. I'm totally digging this build, and I looked up "Pacific Green"; what a beautiful teal it is!
  11. Total beauty! I love the blue exterior color and decal work, along with the white interior.
  12. That is a great idea! I'll look forward to seeing your rainbow collection
  13. Thank you Anders.
  14. And I liked that color on your shorty VW myself
  15. Thank you Doyle. You're very kind. I'm already halfway done with the Milk Trike... This certainly is a nice change from my builds which take months for one custom.
  16. Wow, that's a tasty body design. Kind of Impala, kinda its own thing. Now I need to go shopping for Aussie models...
  17. Just beautiful. And that shine is so deep you could swim in it. Well done!
  18. Atin, I wouldn't sweat the lack of detail in some areas. Different models give us different kinds of satisfaction. In this case, I think the beautifully finished body is going to be your greatest enjoyment. BTW; I agree with other posts in wishing this car had made it to the US, even though I did like the 200SX too.
  19. Never mind....I gotta learn to read slower and not let the pictures distract me!
  20. Ooh, I like this one! Is this a Revell kit?
  21. Thank you. It means a lot coming from you as I really like the ones you did

Totally sweet! I gotta believe those wood side rails are real wood that you burned in, because they look totally real.
  23. Next up in my 4th of 6th Trick Trike builds is the Ed "Big Daddy" Roth designed Mail Box Chopper. I went with a blue and white theme, given that this is supposed to be a mail delivery trike. Exterior is Testors "Star Spangled Blue" Extreme Lacquer - one of the most beautiful paints I have used to date and certainly more beautiful in person than the photos show. The decals are OOB and one of many designs available on the large decal sheet. I'm also trying my hand at staging photos, but it's still a work in progress
  24. Thanks Chris. The Mail Box Chopper is going to be posted later today. These go together fairly quickly, and the most fun part for me is figuring out colors and decals (they come with all kinds of decals for different tastes).
