  1. The stance is awesome Greg, but the paint is my favorite part. The metal flake looks perfectly in scale.
  2. Looking great James!
  3. Totally going to enjoy watching this build Bob. And let's face it, the Nomad is the Debbe Dunning of automobiles....it doesn't matter how you dress her up, she's still going to look good
  4. Just beautiful Joe. I have to remind myself this is 1:25th scale and the pictures are actually ten times as big as the actual thing! BTW, how do you get that cast metal look on the intake and exhaust manifolds? It seems so realistic.
  5. Beautifully done Walter, although I suspect under the hood there is a 383 Chrysler hemi! BTW, I've had good luck with 3M foil tape #3311 I bought at Autozone as an alternative to usual BMF. It's a bit thicker and I find it easier to work with. Plus, it's cheaper. And I've become a big fan of Mototow pens. Just food for thought if you haven't already played with these.
  6. Candy apple red of any variety is the best EVER!
  7. If I had done this model, I would proudly display it in my collection. The color combinations, graphics, stance all look great to me!
  8. Just a perfect blend of modern and vintage. Great job on color choices and build! And is that a Muncie Rock Crusher I see?
  9. Andy, I think you just named this beautiful car.... "Li'l Hotty" would be perfect, wouldn't it?
  10. Thanks Carl. It was a fun one to do, and has lots of potential for those so inclined to take it to another level.
  11. Thank you David.
  12. Great looking model, and wonderful tip on the instrument cluster. Am I sensing a slight bias towards Mopars?
  13. Oh Walter, you gotta have some great stories with that beauty back in the day . Was yours the 440? The model came out fantastic!
  14. Awesome job Michelle! Of course that hood is absolutely fantastic, and I've never seen it done on a Vega before. Coming from that era myself, I worked on a number of these with small block V8's right from the factory. Good luck changing the spark plugs! The Cosworth Vega of that time was way cool too...
  15. Way sexy and well done! I didn't know this kit existed, and now I gotta get me one
  16. What a beast of a beauty this one came out to be Ray. Well done! For me, the interior is the most fascinating area with all the exquisite detail.
  17. I am in utter awe! It's easy to forget the photos we're seeing are about 10 times actual size, and most of what you're doing is with tiny tweezers and a magnifying glass. If the door cards are any indication, the color choices are going to be gorgeous!
  18. Totally loving this build! And Pro Street was definitely the way to go. Cannot wait to see it finished
  19. Super cool! Next up; harsh shadows, sepia tone, and vignetting. Great experimentation and great fun!
  20. Thanks for the kind comments Mike. The door design seems to have been one of form over function, which is particularly funny since these cars didn't even have sideview mirrors. But for accuracy sake, the door shapes seem to be in line with 1:1 photos (kind of a nod to the Miura design in many folk's estimations). As for the build, I would humbly say jump in with both feet, and if worst comes to worst - do what I did and weld the panels shut. The rest of the build besides the opening body panels is a delight to build.
  21. Oh, believe me Ray, I have been poring over your posts on this topic as I get ready to try my hand at it.
  22. Thank you Jeff. The Molotow pen is certainly a mighty weapon!
