  1. Super way to showcase your cool engine with a beautifully made car!

  4. If George Thorogood had a custom car, THIS would be it because it's Bad To The Bone! Love it
  5. Way cool!
  6. Totally love it! I believe this car has named itself "Blasphemy"
  7. Aah, the ravages of time Consider it a challenge that will make the final product that much more meaningful! I, for one, will be watching your progress with interest on this classic model.
  8. Super sweet! ...we live life quarter mile at a time
  9. I love it! Looks like something right out of Hot Rod Magazine
  10. Thanks Guys, I have no idea why I got on this roll, but they are quick builds and so much fun!
  11. Fresh off the Tiki Trike, I had to dive into this one while I was still high from the fumes . I hope @Hmann68 considers it flattering that I totally cribbed his decal design on this build! The color is Testors Fiery Orange Extreme Lacquer over Tamiya White Surface Primer.
  12. I remember you referring to this build during my review of Hot Rod Magazine, and WOW you never cease to amaze me!
  13. Oh my gosh Simon! I just happened on your post and am AMAZED. You are not building a model, you are doing a masterpiece! Thank you for posting.
  14. This thread might be a year old, but I just ran across it while searching for the Taco Trike - - - and darn it your skills are AMAZING!
  15. You Keith, were my inspiration to start these myself. I don't know whether to thank you or blame you I'm already halfway through the Taco Trike and cannot keep the smile off my face.
  16. This is coming out AWESOME! Talk about making a silk purse out of a sow's ear (the sow's ear in my life being my mother's '79 Volare with a slanted six)
  17. I'm digging it so far
  18. Moderator; please remove this post as I meant to put it in completed models. Thank you.
  19. This was one fun build! OOB except for drilled out exhaust. The exterior is Testors Gloss Yellow, the interior a shot of gloss yellow with Testors Fiery Orange Extreme Lacquer over top.
  20. IMHO it is beautiful just the way it is, and a time capsule to your build back then. I would put it under glass and enjoy it!
  21. Absolute beauty! Total class all the way. Thank you for posting.
  22. So cool! I remember working for GM in 1981 and going to the Milford Proving Grounds in Michigan. I saw this sporty red car in one of the parking lots, and pulled over to check it out. It was one of the very first Fieros still in testing. Two seconds later the GM SWAT were all over me fearing that I had somehow gained illegal access and was going to photograph the car. I might have, but that was about twenty years before cell phones with cameras...
  23. This was one fun build! OOB except for drilled out exhaust. The exterior is Testors Gloss Yellow, the interior a shot of gloss yellow with Rustoleum Fiery Orange Extreme Lacquer over top.

    Drag-U-La

Excellent rendition of this Krazy Kool Kar! Thanks for posting
  25. Wow. The nicest thing one can say in my opinion to a builder such as yourself is that it is indistinguishable from the 1:1 car - both in terms of build and your exquisite photography. Well done!
