1960’s Traditional Blown ‘23 T Bucket UPDATE 10/31/22
ea0863 replied to Dennis Lacy's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Welcome back Dennis! I'm looking forward to the cooler weather in Vegas myself! -
Tom, I couldn't agree with you more. The human eye must be so sensitive to nuances that we are not even consciously aware of. I have looked at timeless beauties such as a Ferrari GTO, and compared it to their counterfeited counterparts - only to notice the slightest change in a line took the car from stunning to disappointing.

So much coolness all in one car! Thanks for giving us the blow-by-blow on the build, I'm certainly learning a lot!
-
Very useful link, thanks!

The concept was great, the execution beautiful. But the cutaway drawing? - - - now you're just showing off! -

11 of 15 the 32 ford body styles “oh let’s call it 12”
ea0863 replied to Bullybeef's topic in Model Cars
Following your thread has been quite detrimental to my wallet, I must say! Now I have to have one of each to build too. BTW; I love the last one you built. That's called a Fordoor sedan, right? - - - I'm still learning my '32 Ford body styles. -

Albert, just WOW! I'm convinced it must be 10 times harder to make a build look weathered than to just make it showroom new - - - and you are obviously a master at the technique. Well done Sir! -
Another beautiful job Bill! And although I never saw Addams Family, the car is no less a stunner in its own right

The Hinman roadster, a study in rust update 1/18/23
ea0863 replied to Bullybeef's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Your build is coming out so good, and the car you're patterning it after was so ingenious! Someone made a front mounted mid-engine out of a 30's car - - - so cool! -
Absolutely freakin' awesome!
-
That is one sexy ride. All it needs is fishnet stocking pattern on the seats and it's there!
-
Richard, I think it came out great. I seem to remember your body color being very similar to one they offered on the Firebird of that era as well. Thank you for posting
-
The roof and body is getting a nice look to it - - - like it should have come from the factory like that. Well done!
-
Thanks Mike. I would estimate there was over 300 million represented there. Crazy, right?
-
Thank you Sir, although as a fellow Corvette lover, I would have to say our car was underrepresented

Foose pickup

Came out great! With so many cars coming out now either with carbon fiber parts, or CF bodies altogether, our hobby will need to adapt too. It would be great to have a hydro dipping option with CF in various scales and colors. (Maybe such a thing exists, and I just don't know about it?) -
Very well done Sir! Thanks for posting
