  1. Like where this is going.
  2. They do, but as you know very well, it is the difference between an average build and an outstanding build. The effort pays off.
  3. Detailing takes so much time. Brackets made and mud flaps on. Got the diamond plate walkway painted, ended up copying a local trucking company by moving the air/electrical hookups further back, building a box to house them. Will direct plumb the lines to the box with quick disconnects for the trailer. Found some 2mm aluminum farrows that fit over my hose material to replicate the fittings. See how that goes.
  4. Outstanding work, well done
  5. Wow, that is a stunning build, well done.
  6. Making progress, got to get the hood fitted, build the grill.
  7. Interesting build, love the fabrication work.
  8. For anyone doing this hood conversion. I did not glue the cab crossmember in place, that will be last. I had to slide the cab back to center the front wheels in the openings. Therefore the radiator and motor must also slide back. With the cab cross member out, the frame will flex enough to slip the engine into place. Today checking trailer fit, fitting engine, radiator then make the under chassis exhaust parts.
  9. Very nice, when will you have these on your website?
  10. Picked up several plastic show boxes yesterday, they had the large size that fits big trucks on sale, but the selections of kits sure got downsized.
  11. Very sharp looking rig, well done?
  12. Watching TV with my buddy (Cooper) who does everything with me.
  13. Really nice build and color choice
  14. Same problem with an EBay purchase. Bought a Kenworth cab and hood from a printer in Canada, was supposed to be 1:25 scale but I can put a 1:25 cab inside of it, not even sure it is 1:24 scale. Not sure what I will do with it.
  15. It has crossed my mind several times but not done yet, still could end up in the trash bin.
  16. Finally got a good paint finish on, now wait a couple days to apply fender color.
  17. Factory installed are usually the same color as the body, custom installed can be pretty much any color including polished/chrome metal.
