  1. Tank finished, maybe a couple small details, but done. Next to build load straps from photo etched parts (3 on tank, 2 on pallet) and also build strap bars for the trailer to hold down load.
  2. Very cool project
  3. Thanks David, agree the crate would look more appropriate if it had labeling, just not sure how to do that. Any suggestions would be helpful. I may do an antique wash on the crate to give it a worn well used look.
  4. Load for the trailer is coming together. All of the parts finally arrived and assembled. First coat of primer on, tomorrow will do some finish work and paint.
  5. Wow, beautiful build, very classic
  6. Doing some digging (https://www.renderhub.com/driverua/ford-h-series-hdt-950-semi-truck-sleeper-cab-1961)and found the year as a 1961. The kit you bought represents the truck really well.
  7. What year of truck would this represent? I like what you are doing with this kit.
  8. Lookin good, well done
  9. Thanks David, really enjoy these heavy hauler builds.
  10. Very nice build
  11. Mounts made to put tank on trailer, got the pallet made for the installation parts for the tank. The railing for the top of the tank arrived but the ladder and safety cage did not. This will hold up installing the fill tube, as the railing and ladder must be installed first. The strap kits are here as well
  12. Got started on the tank load for the trailer
  13. Such a cool build, will be watching
  14. Beautiful build, well detailed.
  15. Gonna be watching this come together, some serious ideas here.
  16. Giving thought to a good load for display on the trailer. Think I will build a plastic pellet storage silo. Managed to find a “G” scale ladder and ladder safety cage on EBay. Will use PVC tubing for silo housing and look for a funnel to match diameter. The rest will be Evergreen. Photo example
  17. Just purchased some from Hobbylinc.com
  18. Jacks are built and tucked into the frame.
  19. Trailer is painted, decking cut but needs some fine tuning. Lights, mud flaps and some decals, some other details, then back to truck.
