  1. Thanks for following along and appreciate your feedback. Every time I finish a build, I sit back and look thinking I could have done that better or a detail there would be better or……or….. Guess that is what drives us to build the next one.
  2. I have been away from this build for awhile. I didn’t like several aspects of the build, so I have picked up another T600 Kenworth kit, a Kenworth photo etched detail kit, Auslowe exhaust kit and some miscellaneous stuff. Got the engine built and opened the grill up to add a mesh grill. So, two steps backwards to move forward
  3. Thanks Jeff, every time I finish a build , I look back I say “well I could have that better or that better” and so on. I guess that’s what drives us to build the next one.
  4. Thank you, the grill material is from ST Supply, I bought several scale sheets from him and just look for the pattern that best fits the original grill. I didn’t add the vertical bars in the grill, maybe I should have.
  5. Thanks, and I agree, love the challenge of building the heavy haulers
  6. Thank you guys, appreciate the feedback.
  7. Just finished up the conversion from a International 5000 to a 5600 heavy hauler.
  8. Couple decals and a couple reflectors tomorrow and this project will be wrapped up. Will post to under glass tomorrow.
  9. Yes sir, this is gonna take a few months.
  10. I will build a new version of this logging crane I built a few years ago with the exception of the controls area. New crane only have two control sticks and are mounted near the seat area. The two main extending beams will need to be much longer for the 26 ft bed.
  11. My next project will be the Mack Granite built up as a Michigan Logging Truck (logging trucks vary in design based on regions in US). This will be my second logging truck I have built, so hopefully better than the last. The inspiration comes from Lutke Logging Company which is just down the road from me, so I have gathered a ton of reference material and pictures. This truck will be scratch built using parts from two donor kits and a lot of aftermarket parts including Texas 3D new printed frame rails. Dual steering axles, two rear air lift axles, two drive axles, 26ft bed, scratch build logging crane. Reference pic. Parts collected Mack Granite cab kit
  12. Really nice build, well done
  13. Trying to replicate a local trucking company who mounts their air lines mid-frame, using a box to mount all the lines
