The year I am shooting for is a 2017 ish, so I have an X15 motor to use but no transmission at this point. -

Axles from internet search. I have the three axles with square housing I think I can adapt. Will update to disk brakes as I am out of the older air brakes. -

I think this is the rear suspension used on the C500, at least by internet search, and we know the internet is always correct. I do not have anything close to this in my stash. -

The mock-up, the day cab version and that hood fit well together, I tried the sleeper cab but the hood does not fit well. I wanted to use a bit heavier frame, most of my road trucks are .437 so I am going to scratch build a frame with .500 frame rails. It will be tri-drive(more on thar later). this will be my first build with a Global cab, have bought a few, but starting here. -
This is a build I have been thinking about for some time, but I wanted to do a later version. I recently found the newer cab at Global Trucks. I bought the sleeper version and day cab version. This week in seen a picture of a C500 that just lit my fire, I gotta build this one. Sent picture to my buddy Jeff and for the last few days we come up with a ton of ideas, some good and some over the top. I am missing rear suspension yet. So this is my inspiration, oh and one more thing…….hardly no chrome…. All business. love the gray and black paint scheme with a touch of red, so this color scheme for sure.

Thanks Ron, I think it needs a trailer, maybe gravel trailer or drop deck lowboy or something. -

The Road Boss is starting to develop a personality. Getting fenders mounted, built up a different set of front floats, and trying out some front flares. -

Needed to make up 8 fender frame mounts (couldn’t find any in my junk), used the Ming bolts to add detail, got two offset fender rods for rear most mounts made due to rear tapered frame shape. Get the wheels built up and finish brakes, then can install rear fenders.
