I painted all these over a year ago along with a bunch of others, some of which I've since finished and already posted in the under glass section starting back in March I think. These were all built and in need of restoration. I usually do a bunch of bodies, paint the chassis and detail the wheels. Then I lightly assemble them, put them on display, and finish them one by one after the paint has cured. Right now I'm finishing the Revell 62 Imperial 4 door. I had to cast a rear bumper for one of my 64 Valiants (photo) and the 63 doesn't yet have the wheels and tires detailed. I always have other projects that get done in between but hope to have the rest of these finished over the winter. Thanks for looking! I hope you see something you like. -Rich

Thanks, the wheels, grille, and sidepipes are from the AMT double 40 Willys/32 Ford kit.

Thanks Bob, The wheels, grille, and side pipes are from the 32 Ford-40 Willys double kit. I checked one of my NOS 32 Deuce kits and the tires are the same except that I hand painted the whitewalls.

Thank you both, I appreciate it. -
Sorry, I posted it here by mistake. It's now in the under glass car section. -Rich

Here's something a bit different than I normally post. I do build hot rods once in a while and here is one I built using a variety of spare parts I had.. I love the old AMT kits as well as the old 1/24 Monogram kits and have many of them. I hope you like this one. Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment. -Rich

Thank you. -
Thank you all. I appreciate your comments. I build mostly original issue models from the 50's and 60's. I restore when I can but do use NOS kits like this one from time to time, especially if I have more than one. -Rich

This is one fine looking build, Tom. Just beautiful work!

John, I haven't built one of these since the first issue back around 1963 or so. Yours looks spectacular-color, detailing, everything. Great job!

Your model looks terrific! Perfect colors and great detail. Thanks for showing it to us.

Seen these before but love them both. Great work Terry!

I think these are great models, especially for the time in which they were made. I usually prefer cars without Continental kits and fender skirts so I decided to modify two of these. The third is the way it came when new. I ground off the fender skirts, rear pan area, and modified the rear bumpers. I also lowered the rear suspension as I felt they sat too high in the back. I like them much better this way and it isn't a hard job. I did not have to do any paint touchup. As always, all comments appreciated, good or bad. -Rich

I had planned to post my 60 Plymouth wagon next but didn't want to steal Gerald's thunder when I saw the great looking one he posted a few days ago. Mine can wait a while. I built this wagon using an original kit. This and the 55 and 56 Revell 1/32 models are some of my all time favorites. I have quite a few of each, both built and unbuilt, along with some of the old hobby shop displays. I hope you like this one. It's painted the correct Wimbledon white (thought the name in 57 may have been different). I used Modelhaus glass and AMT 1961 whitewall tires. I foiled all the wood framework and then painted it and removed the paint from all the round mounting bolt heads. Feel free to comment. All comments, questions, and suggestions are welcomed and I do read them. -Rich
