  1. Thanks Dominik. Walid, thank you very much. I don't take WIP photos too often and don't have any of this model. Sorry. Thank you Cliff.
  2. I like Edsels and you did a fine job on this wagon. It looks great!
  3. Very, very nice job! Both models look fantastic.
  4. Okay Lee, PM me your address and I'll get them all out to you in a day or so. I don't need anything in return. -Rich
  5. Thanks Jim, I'm sure there are plenty of other guys who build better than I do, but I do my best. -Rich Harry, thanks so much. All the good comments overwhelm me. David, thank you. I learned to drive at age 11 in an old army jeep and a brand new 1962 Ford tractor. Thanks very much, Bill.
  6. Thanks very much, Eric. I'm glad you like my models. I joined and started posting at the beginning of April. When I have time, I post models more often. I plan to continue as long as there are folks who want to see my work. I just posted an SMP 62 Chevy pickup in the correct Under Glass section and will be posting more there too as well as more in the Diecast section. -Rich
  7. Thanks for your comments Bob. I've had people say I should use mirrors, antennas, etc. I have plenty and do put them on some models, but leave them off most of my builds. I can always add them later. Most of the models I build are 50's and 60's cars and the radio, mirror, heater, backup lights, etc. were options and many cars didn't have them. It took me a long time to find a mirror for my 1:1 61 Chrysler, for instance. For years I've used Mortite to attach mirrors, etc. It stays sticky too so mirrors, etc. can be removed and put back. I agree, the 62 Chevrolet pickup is one of my favorites. I really like the grille and side trim. -Rich
  8. Fine looking build, Alberto. Great details make it look so realistic!
  9. Beautiful, I love the old Comets! Real nice work.
  10. I appreciate your kind comment, Ken. I'll post a 60 Ford and 60 Chevrolet pickup when I get around to it. -Rich
  11. David, thanks very much. The newer kits may have better undercarriage and engine detail but I think it's hard to beat the accuracy of the original issue bodies. I build almost exclusively early original issue kits whether cars, trucks, or rods. -Rich
  12. Okay Lee, I looked a little tonight and found these 3 sets. I think the 2 identical sets (first 2 photos) are from AMT 67 Mustangs. The 3rd set I'm not sure about. You can have them all if you like or I can do a bit more looking in the next couple of days to see if I have some different ones. - Rich
  13. Thanks Gerald, the 62's don't seem to come up too often. I really like the front end. -Rich
  14. That is a fantastic looking model, congratulations! It looks like it has the same wheels as my 1:1 92 XJ.
  15. Bob, that is one fine looking build! I love everything about it, color, stripes, the fine detailing, it's just great! Thanks for showing it. I think this is the first time I've checked this truck section as I just posted a model on it. I'll have to keep watching -Rich
  16. I usually post cars but also like pickups so decided to try posting one of them. I built this one from an NOS kit. Nothing fancy, just a simple, plain build of one of my favorite pickups (along with the 60 Fords and Chevys). The side mirror is held on with a bit of putty. I don't like to drill holes or cement them and often leave them off. The trim is Bare Metal Foil. I left the engine very simple. Thank you for taking the time to look. I always appreciate comments, good or bad, and am happy to answer any questions. -Rich
  17. Very nice, I love seeing models of cars folks drove years ago. You did a great job of replicating the car in the photo. -Rich
