I did. What I didn't mention though, is that its proportions are hilariously wrong. -

I'm not sure whether my AMT kit will forever stay in its box. It does a stellar job of capturing the car's overall shape and that A. counts more for me than having the minutest detail underneath represented B. is something the Tamiya kit has yet to prove itself. So far, we only have a few photos to go by, nobody has held it in his hands and glanced along its lines from every angle. Tamiya kits can tend to be a tad too good and thus oddly soulless. -

I bet there will be oodles of aftermarket decals. Building Roger Clark's '72 RAC winner certainly appeals to me. -

We'd have to pay 49 Euros just for this: http://www.scaleproduction.de/product_info.php?language=en&info=p1668_Passion-for-Racers-Ford-Escort-MK1.html&= I rather buy the plastic kit tbh. -

What cars interest you in resin 1/25

^^ That would actually justify a plastic kit. -

Yes to all and I would actually buy each one. I take the liberty to add something from over beyond: Rover P6 ADO16, preferrably in MG 1100 and/or VDP flavours Armstrong-Siddeley Sapphire 346 A Hooper Empress saloon - doesn't matter which chassis, would prefer a Daimer, though. A Daimler 250 transkit for the Tamiya Jag MKII A Jaguar MKI transkit for the same Daimler Dart Bristol 405 And from over where you are, how about some old Opels? Rekord, Kapitän, Admiral, Diplomat, for example. Also, fintail and W108/109 S-class Mercs. VW 411/412, K70. Some of the bubble cars we didn't see yet, like the Heinkel Kabine, Zündapp Janus, Victoria Spatz, Fuldamobil, Goggomobil Coupe Tempo and Goliath three wheeler Borgward Isabella saloon DKW 3=6 From the land of Pommes Frites Delahaye with Saoutchik coachwork Bucciali TAV8-32 "Fleche d'Or" Any early postwar Hotchkiss saloon Talbot Lago Record saloon transkit for the Heller kit Peugeot 403 (Columbo's car) Renault 16 Renault 17 Renault Floride/Caravelle Citroen SM Citroen 11CV transkit for the Heller 15/6 -
Exactly. And they sound bloody awesome.

Supercharger kits were available by Bertin and Constantin. This is one of the latter: It is rumoured, that some police cars were so equipped.

Actually, the one-bolt system is a bit more complex than meets the eye. It pulls a conically shaped device into the split hexagonal hub, thus expanding the hub into the centre recess of the wheel. The wheel is hence jammed onto the hub. This system was developed together with Michelin, back then the major shareholder of Citroen S.A. The system was replaced by a conventional design to save production cost, and no other reason. At the same time, the wheels were changed from metric to 15" to allow a wider (pun intended) selection of tyres. That vanilla became available on production cars in 1958. Don't be afraid of colours, the DS was available in quite some -errr- progressive hues for its time. Here is a colour configurator: http://www.nuancierds.fr/entreeuk.htm Here are examples: Please note that only exhibition cars had whitewalls. All production cars were delivered with radials.
