  1. Didn't want to hijack the Texas 3D thread, his turbo vw engine is beautiful but lil overkill for what I need. Does anyone cast just an Empi style 2 carb set up for Webers? Thanks...
  2. Steve Albini!!! He really did some great remastering work later on.
  3. Cool looking ride!
  4. I've read several of your wip threads and at your finished builds. You mentioned other builders as influences and I feel you can honestly place yourself in the same circle. Great looking build and congrats on your article as well as your win. Charles
  5. That's what I had discovered doing a cursory search... if I go this route Ace-Garageguy can expect a lot of pms, so I can be certain of doing it correctly!!! Charles
  6. I'm just starting on my California Drags build and I have two ways I'm leaning, either keeping the 29 on the 32 frames and doing a later flathead or using the frame and engine from the 31 Woody kit... just wondering if anyone has used the Revell Roadster body to this frame and any insight? Thank you. Charles
  7. Yes!!! Johnny Winter and don't forget Edgar...
  8. Back in the mid-eighties one of the musicians I loved was J.G.Thirwell, he played under all types of names, Clint Ruin, and the one I first found about him was the different variations of Foetus. This was probably my favorite by him back then and I still pull it out and crank it when my wife isn't home, from the album "Nail". "Anything (Viva!).
  9. My son works for a FBO company and sent me an early video of that right after it happened. He also is interested about the investigation and why it happened. His first thought was concerning the small aircraft...
  10. Go to the video on YouTube, hit the share button, then copy link and paste into your message.
  11. Picture of our dogs last night, though they aren't puppies any longer.
  12. Just 3??? It'd be easier, give me a band name ask for 3 favorite songs... All Along The Watchtower, Jimi Hendrix Experience Black Dog, Led Zeppelin Red Right Hand, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
  13. Good to know. Decent prices and the only Frankland Quick change I've seen cast.
  14. I love the plates in the door...
  15. He pulled them, I'll message him again.
  16. I really appreciate a lot of the music David Bowie did, part of my holy trinity of artists: David Bowie, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop. Probably my favorite eras of his music was his "Berlin Years" when he worked with Brian Eno, after he'd left Roxy Music and was experimenting with his own solo career. This song has been stuck in my head for over a week now. "Yassassin (Turkish for: Long Live)"
  17. I'd been at work and ended up just taking screen shots on my phone...
  18. Seventies would've been a cool time to have been a teen, unfortunately I graduated high school in 1984.
  19. Okay, t-bucket from October 1955...way cool.
  20. Great paint and detail work. Definitely looks drivable. Loved the first pic with Eddie...
  21. I love this, the Astros look great on it... I also love the lime green color. My wife has a late friend who's favorite color was lime green, so I saw this and showed it to my wife. You made her day!
  22. Achieve what truly drives your soul and not what others expect of you and your life will be well lived.
  23. No longer on his ebay page, I messaged him and it doesn't sound like they'll be back. A shame they were some of the best I've seen cast.
  24. Thank you Chris, I understand being too busy, I was just curious since the Revell kit tends to be spendy. On another note, I bought your 32 rear crossmembers and they're great, wondering if you've gone forward with center crossmembers too? Thanks, Charles
