  1. I'd give you my honest opinion but I'll just agree with Bill.

I learned about this today... https://www.hemmings.com/stories/for-prewar-speed-enthusiasts-the-roof-ohv-conversion-is-tops/ You can get a 3d printer file for it too https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/roof-101-for-amt-1929-ford-exhaust/similar-designs I want one for my 29 Ford roadster...not certain about the carb manifold on it. Oh wait, I also learned I don't have a 3d printer.
  3. Bob is the name I want to give a dog eventually, same forwards and backwards...
  4. Exactly what I was typing... but you finished first, so back to the word section.
  5. Eagles was the actual name of the band, though everyone always refers to them as The Eagles but what I find interesting is that the core of the band had been Linda Ronstadt's back up band.
  6. Re-reading "Supercharged Gas Coupes : Remembering the Sixties" by Don Montgomery.
  7. A more benevolent use of UV/black lights than scaring yourself in motel rooms is finding pet stains to treat in your carpet...
  8. Last night we went to a Venezuelan food cart to get dinner, I'd never had Venezuelan food before. I had a Reina Pepiada Arepa, which is a sandwich made with flat bread made of corn dough and chicken, avocado, mayo, onion, cilantro, and lime juice filling. It was delicious.
  9. Beautiful resin as always... Definitely a great man to deal with.
  10. It looked like the same Vette possibly?
  11. I was looking at early photos of cars at Bonneville Salt Flats online, focusing on the 50s https://www.messynessychic.com/2016/03/18/rare-kodachromes-of-1950s-hot-rods-to-send-your-heart-racing/ ...and found this Corvette. while thinking this would make an interesting, though subtle build I tried to find any information out about it. Though I found nothing, I did find this. Which obviously has different modifications done, including a hole probably for a blower up front, the hole in the nose/grille area looks the same. Now either build has my interest piqued. As originally ran or as barn find?
  12. Ordered the P65 set. What are the other scoops in it just outta curiosity? Charles
  13. It was interesting but I was not certain why it irked you 🤣
  14. I'd spend hours and way too much here..

  16. Strange. Same link... Anyway, I haven't ordered that but I've ordered his speed equipment pack and the McCulloch Supercharger. Pretty nice pieces, pretty sure you'll be happy.
  17. I just received an email back from Norm at RMoM and three of the four parts that I wanted to order, which are no longer listed in his 2024 Catalog are still available. Including the scoop pack I was told about. I am so happy!!! Sometimes life is good. Charles
  18. Got part 2 and 3 of the drip irrigation lines set up in 30 minutes. I need to set the drip lines still but I have a phone meeting in a few minutes. So, I'll finish it in a bit. All in time for my wife to water tonight.
  19. Right now 87° with 27% humidity. Tomorrow's supposed to be about 15° cooler and overcast.

  22. Never had an account. My wife does cuz she has kids everywhere. Me, if I want to see something, I text my kid and he either sends me a Pic or his family comes over. Hate that FB now limits how much you can see of a "business" page unless you're a member, thank God Ed of Drag City answers emails...
