I remember that the 70's and 80's 57 hoods had a strange indent about 1/2 way in... besides the other fixes, it'd be nice to have a hood that fit.

Again, I apologize to everyone for my leaving this build thread "hanging" for months now... there was a lot of excitement when I introduced this build. Myself included! Life has interfered. I've done nothing in months on anything. In the last 8 months my wife lost her youngest son and her father. Just last week, I had my first scare with my mom. Now, it looks like my wife might be looking at legal issues regarding her father's estate. I sincerely hope to start building, possibly after the holidays. I haven't even been online much... If anyone is interested, maybe a 2024 TRoG California Drag? I don't know. I want to thank everyone here, those who participated and supported. Heck, for this forum period! Originally the 8/9th. How about the end of the year? Tbh, Memorial Day my wife lost her youngest son to an OD. Our life was getting back in balance a bit and then this morning she found out her father died last night in his sleep. I honestly have no idea what will happen or how much I'll be here or building these next few months. I hope to see some more finished for this build. Again, Apologies on my part. Charles

Yes, I apologize. I haven't stayed on top of this like I should have and I notice without a presence, interest died off fast. Unfortunately, family issues have kept me occupied and I haven't been here or built in awhile. I'm hoping things settle down. Though the holidays will be rough. I don't know if I should just open this thread to California Drags builds as an ongoing build or just give up on it. Again, I'm sorry for letting it languish. Charles
