Moved into my new home Tues. NO MORE RENT!!! And a garage for my 2 Pony's (99 Mustang getting trans rebuilt) but the 88 is ready to be worked on.....new paint coming next spring.

Super nice Build! Your attention to detail is wonderful.
-
WICKED STUFF! Ford should have built a 2-door cause yours looks amazing!
-
Man that thing is ugly. Looks like it was t-boned in an accident.

OY!!!!! Two weeks before the move into my new house and both my Mustang's are dead. My 88 convertible won't start (electrical problem) and the transmission is not shifting right in the 99 coupe. Sending the 99 to the trans shop to see what's up. Hope it's just a torque converter and does not need a total rebuild. Lucky I have a friend with a van I can use. Just could not wait till I was at the house.............OY!!!!!!

Question/New Topic for us Oldtimers
webestang replied to TransAmMike's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
I have 3 Mustang's currently. 1985 2.3 notch back , 88 5.0 convertible and my daily driver is a 99 coupe V6. I did get an offer of $2000 for the 85, thinking of selling as it is not sentimental and I need the cash to help with the rebuild on my 88 from a fender bender I had several years ago and another new top. -
Under contract and close July 12th. The garage in back is 1-1/2 cars wide and 2 cars (Mustang's) deep!

Question/New Topic for us Oldtimers

I'll be 60 in October. Just went to my 6 month check up and got my yearly blood test back from my doc. All is well. I do take meds for slightly high blood pressure and asthma which seems to have gone away for the most part in the last 10 years (I was diagnosed back in 1998). I'm just so happy I'm buying my first (and only) house before turning 60. Now I have proper space for all my hobbies!!!! Can't wait to dig into my 1:1 Mustang's, model kits, slot car track/train set, Lego and printing BW photos in a darkroom! -
Fun paint job! I might have to get that kit sometime in the future to build my Pop's first Bug he owned in the late 60's.

OK....so one more house to look at in south St. Louis city. This one looks very promising as it is listed by my realtor and has for sure been completely rehabbed. A little older than the other, built in 1891. Here's hoping.

Super sweet! LOVE the color combo!

Welp.....not buying this house I found. Seller listed like you can move right in but after inspection they said they will not fix anything. The house would need about 10k of work and I can not do that. Oh well, I have about 2-3 weeks to find another or I'm going to have to find another apartment.

Well.....under contract to buy a house. 3 bedroom built in 1899. It's been renovated and has newer central AC/furnace and the hot water heater is only 4 months old. 2 car garage with tons of extra parking out back and the garage faces the parking pad not the back alley. Nice little old neighbor hood in University City (MO) and only 20 minute drive to work. If you know St. Louis county its just 3 blocks from the famous "Delmar Loop".

What Older TV show's need to be put to rest already??
webestang replied to ranma's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Got rid of cable 6 months ago and do not miss it at all. I do have a digital antenna (with DVR) for a few shows I still watch but it's not much, (The Neighbor Hood and FBI for sure). Of course have streaming (Netflix, Discovery Plus, Britbox (for my Mom to share) and the F1 channel. And have hundreds of VHS, DVD's and Blu-ray's. As far as reruns I buy DVD/Blu-ray sets of shows I watch over and over. Uncut and no commercials plus I love the tons of extras. -
Pre-approved for house loan today (5k more than I thought). WOOHOO! Time for serious hunting.
