  1. Under contract and close July 12th. The garage in back is 1-1/2 cars wide and 2 cars (Mustang's) deep!
  2. I'll be 60 in October. Just went to my 6 month check up and got my yearly blood test back from my doc. All is well. I do take meds for slightly high blood pressure and asthma which seems to have gone away for the most part in the last 10 years (I was diagnosed back in 1998). I'm just so happy I'm buying my first (and only) house before turning 60. Now I have proper space for all my hobbies!!!! Can't wait to dig into my 1:1 Mustang's, model kits, slot car track/train set, Lego and printing BW photos in a darkroom!
  3. Fun paint job! I might have to get that kit sometime in the future to build my Pop's first Bug he owned in the late 60's.
  4. OK....so one more house to look at in south St. Louis city. This one looks very promising as it is listed by my realtor and has for sure been completely rehabbed. A little older than the other, built in 1891. Here's hoping.
  5. Super sweet! LOVE the color combo!
  6. Welp.....not buying this house I found. Seller listed like you can move right in but after inspection they said they will not fix anything. The house would need about 10k of work and I can not do that. Oh well, I have about 2-3 weeks to find another or I'm going to have to find another apartment.
  7. Man that Pony is stunning!!!!! Scotty so jealous! I was 16 in 1981 and driving a 71 VW Super Beetle dreaming of owning a Mustang. That did not happen till 83 when I got my 68 Coupe.
  8. Well.....under contract to buy a house. 3 bedroom built in 1899. It's been renovated and has newer central AC/furnace and the hot water heater is only 4 months old. 2 car garage with tons of extra parking out back and the garage faces the parking pad not the back alley. Nice little old neighbor hood in University City (MO) and only 20 minute drive to work. If you know St. Louis county its just 3 blocks from the famous "Delmar Loop".
  9. Great to hear he is back!!!
  10. Glad to hear you are on the mend. Stay strong.
  11. I have this movie on VHS as it was only released in the US on tape or laserdisc. Very funny movie. RIP Dab.....you were one funny funny man!!!!
  12. What a beautiful job on this Maro....!! This is one of my favorite body styles, well done all around!
  13. Hope you feel better soon. Like others have said you should see your doc.
  14. Got rid of cable 6 months ago and do not miss it at all. I do have a digital antenna (with DVR) for a few shows I still watch but it's not much, (The Neighbor Hood and FBI for sure). Of course have streaming (Netflix, Discovery Plus, Britbox (for my Mom to share) and the F1 channel. And have hundreds of VHS, DVD's and Blu-ray's. As far as reruns I buy DVD/Blu-ray sets of shows I watch over and over. Uncut and no commercials plus I love the tons of extras.
  15. Pre-approved for house loan today (5k more than I thought). WOOHOO! Time for serious hunting.
  16. Monte Bella.....! Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili.....!
  17. Neat die-cast. Will have to get one of those someday.
  18. Have seen him twice with the Brothers but have the Brothers 10 times. I even flew to New Orleans in 1993 to see them at the jazz fest. One of my fav bands.
  19. I had a blue 71 350 I got for free back in 1980, had it for 3 years. All it needed was a carb rebuild and a battery. Fun Fun Fun bike. I used to keep it inside my grandma's screened in porch (she lived very close). Her mailman saw it one day and said he would pay me $100 for it so I sold it to fund my 68 Mustang. Some where I still have the license plate. I'm sure it's worth a small fortune now.
  20. I'd like to or find a nice Grand Merc. First thing though I'm buying a house in the next 2-3 months that's when the lease on my crappy apartment is up.
