  1. One of my all time favs is a VW Matchbox I carried in my pocket through grade school............... Supposed to look like this..............LOL
  2. Outstanding details of your Mom's pride and joy! Those hub caps and WW's remind me of my 68 coupe I had in High School. I built a 67 FB 6 banger years ago. Someday I want to build my Pop's 67 coupe 6 banger.
  3. I used to collect a ton of diecast, stopped right after my bankruptcy in 2010....oops. Now I just mainly just focus on Mustang's, VW Bugs, staion wagons and 48 Tucker's if I can find them. I also will look at all the Matchbox as they make some really neat castings. I very fond of the 1943 Jeep Willys and MB just came out with the 1980 AMC Eagle. Anyone remember Toy Cars and Models magazine? Great mag! I had an article I wrote for them about Avon bottle cars (still collect those). And when I had them in a case (now in boxes)
  4. I'm also glad you and the fam are OK. Scary stuff. That happened to me about 10 years ago in a house I was renting. When the guy came to change the furnace out for a new one he said the old furnace was as old as the house......the house was built in 1954!!
  5. Hope mine got there from St. Lou.
  6. Any and all Mustang's, mostly Mustang II's last count I have around 15, Fox body's I think I have around 20 of those and the AMT 67 Mustang fastback built only one so far but have 4 more. And a mention to the resin Mustang station wagon body. I had 8 of those, sold some, built one so far.
  7. Media mail went up as well. I sell VHS tapes on the Bay and the price went from $2.89 ship a tape up to $3.92 in the last year.
  8. I'll have to turn one of my Gateway Arch photos into a post card and send it to them.............?
  9. RIP..... Loved you in "The Whole Nine Yards".
  10. Texas.......Texas irked me for booing Max on his F1 win yesterday. What a bunch of weenies.
  11. I think there is a fav concert thread somewhere on here. But anyway........ Best- all the Scorpions concerts I've been too (Best of all was the 1984, Love at First Sting tour). I'm bias as they are my favorite band. Loudest- Judas Priest. Best sounding- Bod Seager. Best seats- Aerosmith -2nd row center. Met the band- Foreigner. Foreigner 4 tour 1981. After the show the band went to a restaurant that a friend's brother worked there and surprised us. So many other concerts.
  12. Yep.......River Rouge......... https://fordauthority.com/2020/09/historic-ford-river-rouge-complex-photo-is-a-real-life-time-warp/
  13. My 99 Mustang had an air bubble in the system when I had no heat. But it was after I replaced the rad. Had to let it sit and run till it burped it out. Sure hope you do not need to drop the dash, did that on my 85 and 88 Mustang........but at least no airbags to mess with...... 88..... 85.....
  14. That would be my thought. My 81 was interesting as it was built at the San Jose plant but was not for sale in Calf. and had a slightly different exhaust for the 4 banger than the Mich. Mustang's.
  15. San Jose, CA. factory.........Ford had to open a plant in CA to keep up with demand. BTW my old 81 Mustang I owned from 83-87 was built there.
  16. At least the tire did not do this............(at 80mph).....
  17. Every time I hit the "like" button I get this..... Sorry, there was a problem reacting to this content.
  18. Agreed............?

  21. Um, this is hard as I have many top 5 movies like, top 5- science fiction, classic, action, X-mas etc. So how about my top 5 I can watch over and over and...........seen these at least 100 times. 1. Duel 1971 2. The Day the Earth Stood Still 1951 3. Fun with Dick and Jane 1977 4. The Court Jester 1955 5. The Terminator 1984
  22. Back in the spring of 1993 I was at the New Orleans jazz festival watching an all girl Cajun band at one of the small stages when this guy came on stage and plugged in his guitar. The lead singer said "Lets all welcome my good friend Jimmy Buffet". He just showed up and played for an hour with this band. It was amazing. RIP Jimmy.
  23. Had a Texas Brown Tarantula in my basement when I rented a house about 8 years ago. About 4 inches. Scooped him in a box and let him go, way in the backyard on a fallen tree. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_brown_tarantula
  24. SCORPIONS....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have been eligible since 1997.
